Our volunteer advocates are out there making things happen, to benefit Georgians affected by Alzheimer's and dementia. Our advocates are making calls, writing letters and even having coffee with their legislators, all to affect policy--both statewide and on the federal level. Cameron joins us with a strong background in civic engagement, community mobilization, and public policy, bringing a wealth of experience in driving impactful advocacy initiatives and fostering deep community relationships. In this role, he will be leading our efforts to mobilize, train, and support dedicated advocates across the state to advance our legislative priorities. Myredith Momongan is a relationship-driven professional with experience in fundraising, community engagement, and strategic partnerships. She currently leads the Walk to End Alzheimer’s campaigns in Gwinnett County, Athens and Gainesville, where she focuses on growing revenue, expanding community involvement, and partnering with volunteer leaders to deliver impactful events. Myredith continues to grow her expertise in volunteer leadership, event development and sponsorships, and is committed to building authentic relationships and advancing meaningful, mission-driven work. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Georgia.
Myredith's expertise and work will have great impact on Gwinnett, Athens and Gainesville and we're so excited to welcome her to these areas!

Summer is winding down, which means it's almost time for Walk season! The Walk to End Alzheimer's in Georgia kicks off September 19 in LaGrange. There are 20 locations throughout the state, wrapping up on November 7 in Statesboro, SE Atlanta and Athens. So click the link, pick the Walk closest to you and register your team.
