The older I get, the more I realize peace is underrated. Having somebody you genuinely enjoy doing life with is a blessing. That’s wealth to me. šŸ¤Ž

Jet lag had me exhausted all day in Ghana šŸ‡¬šŸ‡šŸ˜ But mention food, a cute outfit, date night, and getting out the house and suddenly I’m cured. šŸ˜‚šŸ¤Ž

Ladies… get you a man that understands the assignment behind the camera šŸ˜‚šŸ“øšŸ„°

A little airport content…
a little international business…
and a little moment where me and him looked at each other like…

ā€œdamn… we really built this life togetherā€ šŸ„¹āœˆļøšŸ¤Ž

One thing about me?
When I start staring at my passport too long… it’s usually over with šŸ˜‚āœˆļø

Unpopular opinion:
I really do think women get better in their 40s.

The best advice I can give women in their 20s and 30s is to stop letting the internet scare you into thinking life over at 30… and go follow some women in their 40s.

REAL women. Women actually living life.

Because baby… a lot of us are just now becoming the version of ourselves we were trying so hard to be all along.

People ask me all the time how I balance being a doctor, a mom, businesses, life, exhaustion, all of it…

Truthfully?
Some days I got it together…
most days absolutely not!! 😭

But one thing about me?
If my teenager randomly decides he wants to hang out with me, I’m clearing the schedule immediately lol.

Because once they get older, you really start realizing how much you miss the little moments.

And somewhere between work, responsibilities, and trying to keep life together… I’ve learned to enjoy them whenever they come.

A lot of us aren’t tired of helping people. We’re tired of a system that’s making it harder and harder to be human while doing it.
And I think people outside of healthcare have no idea how many doctors are quietly questioning everything right now.

As a high-achieving woman, I’m slowly redefining what success, identity, freedom, and life outside of survival mode actually mean to me.
And honestly, I still don’t fully know what the next chapter looks like yet…
but I do know that over the next few months, medicine is going to become less and less the majority of my time.

For those of you who have been in healthcare for a long time…
What advice would you honestly give the younger generation coming into this field?

One minute they’re little kids asking you for snacks every five minutes…
then suddenly they’re finishing 9th grade. šŸ„¹ā¤ļø

Proud of you Eli. For real.
Watching you grow up has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

10th grade next and I’m honestly still trying to process how fast time is moving. šŸ˜ā¤ļø
