Christ-Centered. Long-Term. Recovery Residence. Restoring Homeless Women with Addictions We also provide ongoing support to Gilgal alumni after program completion.

Through our one-year, two-phase program, we provide food, clothing and housing, as well as a full range of addiction services, spiritual nourishment, life skills development, health and wellness education and career training and education. We are located in Atlanta and currently serve the metro area, as well as greater Georgia. Gilgal has a 501(c)(3) designation and relies upon generous donations from individuals, churches, businesses, foundations, and community organizations. OUR VISION:
Assist women in breaking the cycle of defeat that led them to drug and alcohol addiction and replace it with a cycle of victorious living through Jesus Christ. OUR VALUES:
Using the Holy Bible as our guide, we will: exercise integrity by doing the right thing at all times; deliver best of breed service offerings to our clients and employees; treat clients with dignity and worth; exercise sound fiscal accountability for individuals and organizations who invest in us; and give back to the community.

Every ticket to the 12th Annual Blue Jean Gala supports Gilgal’s one-year residential recovery program, which offers safe housing, life-skills training, and a community that believes change is possible. Since 2005, nearly 1,000 women have found a new beginning here.

We’re just 10 days out from the 12th Annual Blue Jean Gala, and we couldn’t wait to share a sneak peek at this year’s silent auction items. Every bid helps support the women of Gilgal on their journey of recovery. 💙

🌌Two-Night Glamping Stay at Clay Cosmos
Unplug and look up! Spend two nights in a Conestoga bunk wagon at Clay Cosmos, a 12-unit glamping resort on the edge of Providence Canyon, Georgia’s own “Little Grand Canyon.” You’ll have canyon hikes by day, fire pits by night, and some of the darkest skies in the region for stargazing. (Restrictions apply.)

Always wanted to learn Mahjong? This one’s for you! Gather seven friends for a 2-hour, beginner-friendly lesson in American Mahjong with Yvonne Hopkins of Kinsfolk Mahjong. You’ll learn the rules and some beginner strategy, and all materials are provided. It’s an evening of fun and fellowship.

⛳ Golf & Lunch at Piedmont Driving Club
Grab two friends and join longtime Gilgal supporter Brent Hornbuckle for a relaxed round on one of Atlanta’s most storied courses, followed by lunch in the clubhouse. Behind every smile in this room is a reason to be there!

The Blue Jean Gala is a night of joy, but it’s also a night of purpose. Each guest who comes to the table is choosing to stand with women who are doing one of the hardest things a person can do: begin again.

For more than 20 years, Gilgal has walked alongside women in recovery, offering a safe home, a supportive community, and the time it takes to truly heal. Nearly 1,000 women have found that hope here, and this night helps make room for the next.
On October 22, we’ll gather in our blue jeans to celebrate them, to remember why this work matters, and to keep the doors open.

As National Recovery Month comes to a close, we’re grateful for everyone who showed up for the women we serve. Recovery doesn’t end when the month does. It’s a daily, year-round journey, and we’ll keep walking it alongside every woman who comes through our doors. 💜
