AAPI Heritage Month Weekend with Shōgun Matcha

This weekend, we’re celebrating AAPI Heritage Month the best way we know how — through matcha, tea, culture, flavor, and community.

We’re bringing a lineup inspired by Asian flavors and traditions, including Shojicha, our premium hojicha syrup; Wednesday, our black sesame blend; The White Lotus, our organic jasmine tea blend; Saint Juteux, lychee syrup with sparkling water; and Tokyo Blue, our wild blueberry matcha.

On Sunday, June 7th, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Shōgun Matcha is partnering with Nobu Hotel Atlanta for an invite-only celebration of our 1-year anniversary — a summer-style matcha experience set across the Nobu Hotel Rooftop, Villa space, and poolside atmosphere. Nobu Hotel Chef’s will prepare something very exquisite for our light bites.

Nobu Hotel Atlanta, Japanese elegance with polished Southern charm, luxury stays and that unmistakable Nobu aesthetic. This is where Japanese luxury meets a premium Matcha brand with a taste for authenticity.

📣The Creator Pass, we’re planning an early access tour before the event begins — a chance to capture Nobu Hotel’s unique spaces, rooftop setting, villa atmosphere, and the calm before the matcha storm. Only a few select creators will be invited to collaborate with Shōgun Matcha and Nobu exclusively for this experience.

Inside the Villa, the Shōgun Matcha bar will be serving our premium matcha experience, with a dedicated creators’ section, rooftop access, and a full summer energy around the event.

From the Nobu Sakura exclusive drink to Shōgun’s signature blends, every pour carried the weight of something rare: Uji matcha from a 300-year-old family farm that doesn’t just produce tea, but inherits it, protects it, and passes it down like a family secret.

🌱 Sh**un Matcha Weekend Special: Atlanta Pop-Ups 🌱

🍲 We kick off the weekend Friday at our in-house residency inside The Poke House in Buckhead, serving hand-whisked matcha only from 12 PM to 3 PM. Come settle in, grab one of their fresh poke bowls with that Pacific West flavor, and pair it with your favorite Sh**un matcha. Plenty of seating, a relaxed indoor setup, and free validated parking at Terminus 100 make this the perfect Friday matcha stop.

📣 Saturday, we’re back at one of our most fun markets: Sandy Springs Farmers Market, from 8:30 AM to 12 PM. We’ll be serving all your favorite Sh**un Matcha drinks alongside some of the best local vendors around. This market was voted Best of Georgia three years in a row, and if you’ve been, you know exactly why. Great energy, great people, and even better matcha.

⚜️ Sunday is one for the books. Nobu Hotel Atlanta is hosting a very special Mother’s Day event, and Sh**un Matcha is honored to arrive from 11 AM to 2 PM for our most exclusive collaboration to date. Please note: this will be a slow bar experience, with every drink hand-whisked. Limited quantities available until sold out, with a two-drink limit per customer. We’ll also be dropping an exclusive limited-edition drink: The Nobu Sakura, made with real sakura from Japan.
