Health news update: RABIES! Yes, rabies has been in the news lately, with animal cases reported in Dekalb. Here's a recap of the news, and what to know to protect yourself, your kids, and your kids from rabies. Topic suggestions and questions welcome below!

Should have mentioned the phone # of the poison center is (800) 222-1222, nationwide -- if you're bitten or scratched by an animal, wash up the wound with soap and water, then call the poison center to review the exposure to help decide if further steps for potential rabies is needed.

We had our annual office party at Bury The Hatchet this weekend, and it was a great time - plenty of laughs, some surprisingly impressive throws, and everyone left in one piece.

We also got to cheer on some big milestones: Crystal’s 10th year, Regina’s 10th year, Seth’s 10th year, and Cindy’s BIG 25th year!

And because we missed her last year, we made sure to celebrate Susan’s 6th year too.

Congratulations to all — see pics below.
