💙 Self-care is an important part of recovery.

Recovery is about more than staying away from substances—it’s also about learning to care for your mind, body, and spirit. Resting, setting boundaries, asking for help, and taking time to recharge are all part of building a healthy life in recovery.

Our team at Your Haven is taking some time today to rest and recharge so we can continue showing up for our community.

Today, Your Haven pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the heroes who ran toward danger, the families whose lives were forever changed, and a nation that came together in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

May we never forget the courage, sacrifice, compassion, and unity shown that day. May we continue to carry that spirit forward by loving our neighbors, serving our communities, and reminding one another that even in the darkest moments, hope still rises.

💜 WHAT A DAY IN BUCHANAN! 💜

Our hearts are incredibly full after welcoming the Georgia Recovers in Communities Bus Tour to our little town of Buchanan!

A huge THANK YOU to the Georgia Council for Recovery for bringing this incredible movement into communities like ours and giving us the opportunity to come together, celebrate recovery, and remind people that RECOVERY IS REAL and RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE!

Thank you to every vendor, volunteer, speaker, community partner, local leader, and individual who showed up and helped make this event possible. Whether you set up a table, served food, helped behind the scenes, shared your story, marched in the parade, or simply came out to support recovery—you were part of something special.

There is something powerful about seeing a small town come together with one message: people can recover, families can heal, and lives can be restored.

At Your Haven, we believe that no one should have to walk this journey alone. Yesterday was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community chooses hope over stigma and connection over judgment.

Thank you, Buchanan, for showing up for recovery. 💜

And thank you again to the Georgia Council for Recovery and the Georgia Recovers in Communities Bus Tour for making our small town part of something so much bigger.
