To revise.. or not to revise... So many of my colleagues are discussing tethered oral tissues and tongue ties. I have pulled together some resources on the MTHFR gene mutation associated with midline defects like tongue tie.

Patients with tongue tie often have a genetic mutation called MTHFR.

Early intervention in sleep disordered breathing is good - but the growth spurt of puberty can upset the apple cart!

A child's airway needs to be patent (open) for life. Even kids who have had early orthodontic or ENT surgeries may be challenged once they enter puberty.
