❤️ We’re looking for some wonderful community members to help bring even more joy, connection, and meaningful experiences to our residents at Oakwood Village Assisted Living & Memory Care!

We are currently looking for:

📖 A Bible Study Volunteer to lead a friendly weekly Bible study or devotional group.

🐾 Certified Pet Therapy Teams who would enjoy visiting with our residents and bringing comfort, companionship, and smiles.

🎨 A Monthly Craft Workshop Volunteer or Instructor who enjoys crafting, painting, or creating and would like to lead a fun hands-on program for our residents. Volunteer and paid-instructor opportunities may be available.

If you have a talent, passion, or a little extra time you’d like to share, we would love to hear from you!

Happy Labor Day from Oakwood Village! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

Today we celebrate the hard work, dedication, and contributions of workers everywhere. Every job, every role, and every person who shows up each day helps keep our communities moving forward.

Here at Oakwood Village, we are especially grateful for our incredible team — from caregivers and Activities to Wellness, Dietary, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Administration, and every department in between. Your compassion, teamwork, and commitment to our residents truly make a difference.

To all workers in our community and beyond, thank you for everything you do. We hope you have a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved Labor Day!

🍂 Hello September! 🍁 Our September Activities Calendars are here and we have a lot of fun things planned this month at Oakwood Village!

We’ve got scenic bus drives, shopping trips, lunches out, art, games, BINGO, sensory programs, cooking with Marlene, card making with Nancy, Mary Kay Makeup with Kim, and of course our September Birthday Party. 🎨🚌🎂

We also have lots of live entertainment coming up this month with Lisa Ellis, Billy B., Acoustic Underground, Blue Rhythm, Gold Country Band, plus a special Oktoberfest celebration with Antonio! 🎶🍻🥨

And we’ll be getting out and about with shopping trips, scenic drives, and lunches at some of our favorite spots like Starbucks, Target, MOD Pizza, Black Bear Diner and Mel’s. ☕🍽️

We’re looking forward to a fun month and making lots of great memories with our residents as we head into fall. ❤️🍁

We always love when Bailey comes to visit us. 🐾❤️ There’s just something about a furry friend that brings out the biggest smiles, starts conversations, and makes the day a little brighter.

Our residents enjoyed plenty of pets, cuddles, laughs, and sweet moments with Bailey. Thank you for bringing so much joy and companionship to our community, we’re always happy to see you! 🐶🥰
