Mid-Year Update 2026

Hello to all of you out there in friendship land. How we wish we could sit down with each of you individually and share what's on our heart. There is a lot missed when one just reads words on a page so we will do our best to communicate. The "Emmanuel Story", which we've written about in previous updates, began in May 2025....

END OF YEAR 2025 UPDATE

Hello everybody! We hope you experienced a wonderful Christmas with all the warmth and light your hearts can hold. So here we are going into the next quarter century! A lot of the news can sure get us down but the news reports we receive from our friends in Africa are so encouraging. Last May we shared that our Loom team received $14,000 from a church to fund…...

Good Morning Y'all!
This song touched me in a special way today. I trust that you TOO will experience His touch during this Christmas season.

… For I'm sheltered in the arms of God

… I feel the touch of hands so kind and tender
They're leading me in paths that I must trod
I'll have no fear 'cause Jesus walks beside me
For I'm sheltered in the arms of God
… So let the storms rage high
The dark clouds rise
They won't worry me
For I'm sheltered safe within the arms of God
He walks with me
And naught of earth shall harm me
For I'm sheltered in the arms of God
… Soon I shall hear the call from Heaven's portals
"Come home, My child, it's the last mile you have trod."
I'll just fall asleep and wake up in God's new heaven
Forever sheltered in the arms of God
… So let the storms rage high
The dark clouds rise
They won't worry me
For I'm sheltered safe within the arms of God
… He walks with me
And naught of earth shall harm me
For I'm sheltered in the arms of God
So let the cold winds blow
It's so good to know
That I'm sheltered in the arms of God

To all of our dear friends out there! It is a beautiful spring here in Texas. The temperatures remind us of our many days in Hawaii. We are enjoying them while they last as we know the temps will soon climb to 100° and beyond. Our work in Africa continues to flourish and bring us great challenges and joy. This morning we woke to this very encouraging letter from a former participant....
