I provide labor support as well as postpartum doula services. I am a certified Labor Doula. I realized this passion around 6 2010, but didn't know about doulas.

Pregnancy, birth and the amazing and phenomenal things a womxn or birthing person’s body does during and to prepare for a birth is fascinating to me. Since then, my eyes have obviously been opened and I am excited to share this journey with you all. A doula is someone who is trained to assist another woman during childbirth and even postpartum. A doula provides physical, emotional and educational support. A doula helps the client make informed decisions. We are not midwives and we do not perform clinical tasks. Please feel free to inquire if you are interested in a labor doula for your birth or know someone who is! I would be happy to answer any questions you may have, as well as set up a meeting to see if we are the right fit for each other.

Is shower "self- care" as in wellness? Or is it litetally just basic hygiene that everyone should be expected to have time and support to do?

Do we tell people brushing their teeth is self-care? Taking out the trash, self-care?

How we frame things matters.

Sure, a candle lit bath with a bath bomb can fall into me time. But a shower? It's part of maintainjng this human body...

Do you think showers are a luxury?

Bath time can be scary for first time parents! Postpartum doulas are awesome at showing you an approachable and gentle way to bathe your baby. 🫧🛁
Additionally, us doulas can also bathe baby as part of our care for you and your family! The goal is to minimize the effort you have to exert when we are present in ways that pertain to you and your baby/ies. Send me a comment or DM for more information! ✨♥️
