Good day to all

I wanted to update you on my newest role as a Senior Operations Advisor to Precina Health. Precina is a Telemedicine company founded with the express mission to eliminate type 2 diabetes afflicting millions in the US and abroad.

In our Pilot study 49 out of 50 patients successfully maintained acceptable levels of blood glucose within 12 weeks of starting treatment and more than 80% kept it there for 2 years. Medication and behavior change are both needed to be successful.
This gave us the data to launch ultimately nationwide.

The End of Type 2 Diabetes!

As many of you know, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people improve their lives, personally and professionally. Many of my clients have been in healthcare, and I’ve now started a medical practice, Precina Health, with Dustyn Williams to end Type 2 Diabetes (and then other chronic diseases). In our pilot, we helped 49 of 50 patients control their diabetes in 12 weeks. We are seeing similar results with our patients today.

This journey took me back to USC, where I completed my doctorate. There, I focused on finding better ways to manage this pervasive disease. My motivation was personal—after witnessing my mother-in-law experience a preventable hospitalization due to diabetes complications, I knew there had to be a better way.

Our approach lets our team of providers spend much more time with patients. We talk to them as often as they need (sometimes daily). Now, we’re integrating cutting-edge AI technology to personalize care and predict potential complications before they arise. Even patients frustrated by their condition and the healthcare system for years are achieving better healthcare outcomes, often in weeks. I’ve been following our protocols and lost 60 lbs. in the process.

We are realizing our mission to revolutionize diabetes care, especially in underserved communities, and I’m thrilled about the possibilities that lie ahead.

In May 2023, a Precina patient began treatment for MRSA bacteremia and osteomyelitis. Initially, the patient was prescribed multiple medications in June, reaching maximum doses of the medications.

The patient’s A1C level was 10% in May, significantly improving to 5.9% by September 2023.
