We’re so excited to share that Cater to Mom was recently featured by Voyage Austin in their latest Local Stories feature, “Exploring Life & Business with Marsha Stephanson of Cater to Mom.”

Cater to Mom was born from a simple realization I experienced firsthand as a mother: while everyone is busy preparing for and caring for the baby, who is caring for Mom?

Nearly 8 years later, that question is still at the heart of everything we do.

In the interview, I share a little more about the journey behind Cater to Mom, the challenges and lessons that come with building a business, why postpartum care matters, and what it means to create a brand that reminds moms:

You deserve to be cared for, too.

I also share a little about my journey from serving in the U.S. Air Force, to becoming a mom, to becoming an entrepreneur, and how all of those experiences shaped the woman and founder behind Cater to Mom.

I’m incredibly grateful to Voyage Austin for giving me the opportunity to tell our story and shine a little more light on the importance of caring for the mother, not just preparing for the baby.

Because motherhood can feel like a million little things happening all at once. This month, we’re encouraging moms to slow down, breathe, and make a little space for themselves.

Not because they have extra time.
But because they matter, too.

My youngest started kindergarten this year, and every morning I wake him up with a big “good morning”, and he gives me his best squeeze hug. 🥹❤️

He loves getting hugs from his mama, but little does he know… I cherish those hugs just as much, maybe even more.

Because sometimes the little arms wrapped around you are exactly what your heart needs. 🤎

Hold them a little longer, mamas. Those moments are everything.

✨ It’s back! ✨

One of our most-loved boxes is making its return.

💙 The Late Nights & Early Mornings has officially returned to our Cater to Mom subscription box rotation because it has always been a favorite in our community.

Motherhood doesn’t keep office hours. It happens during midnight feedings, 3 a.m. wake-ups, sleepy cuddles, and quiet moments when the rest of the world is still asleep. While everyone else is counting hours of sleep, moms are counting tiny milestones, little smiles, and moments that make it all worthwhile.

✨ Honored to be Featured by CanvasRebel! ✨

When I started Cater to Mom, I wasn't trying to build a business, I was trying to solve a problem I experienced firsthand.

After becoming a mom, I realized how much attention was given to caring for the baby while so little was focused on caring for the mother. I remember feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and alone during my postpartum journey. That experience planted a seed that eventually became Cater to Mom.

Today, I'm incredibly honored to share more of that journey with CanvasRebel. In this interview, I talk about the highs, the challenges, the lessons I've learned over the past seven years, and why supporting moms postpartum continues to be my life's mission.

Can you believe we're already halfway through the year? 💛

Back in January, so many of us made promises to ourselves. This would be the year we finally prioritized our health, our rest, our well-being.

There comes a moment when we realize that doing everything isn’t the goal.

As moms, we’re constantly pulled in a hundred different directions, caring for our children, showing up for work, supporting our families, keeping the house running, and somehow finding time for ourselves.

But here’s your reminder today:
✨ You can do anything, but you can’t do everything.

Choosing rest isn’t giving up.
Asking for help isn’t weakness.
Saying “not right now” isn’t failure.

Your worth isn’t measured by how much you accomplish in a day. It’s measured by the love you give, the presence you bring, and the grace you allow yourself to receive.
Today, choose what matters most, and let the rest wait.
