STATA member Jaimie Peterson has been working on a collaborative art project to bring folks in Kerr County together. The Half Mile project is in its early stages and they are asking for folks to create flags of hope. (Swipe for more info & directions!) A huge thank you to everyone who contributed and volunteered at our booth at the yesterday! Thank you so much for the invite, it was such a lovely time getting art therapy out into the community! 🫶🏼

We are looking forward to joining next Saturday, May 2nd! STATA will have a booth where we will be sharing more about art therapy and art therapists in our area.

This 2.5-hour workshop will focus on healing-centered engagement—a framework that moves beyond trauma-informed care to support resilience, connection, and collective meaning-making through art.

Participants will engage in an experiential process by creating a glass mosaic bird, contributing to a larger public installation that reflects collective healing, remembrance, and community resilience.
