When people hear the word chaplain, they often assume it's only about religion. In hospice, it's so much more.

Our chaplains provide compassionate emotional and spiritual support to patients and families of every background and belief. Sometimes that means prayer. Sometimes it's a conversation. Sometimes it's simply sitting quietly with someone who doesn't want to be alone.

They're an important part of our interdisciplinary team, helping care for the whole person, not just their medical needs. 💙
