Feeling SO grateful for this experience! ✨

A big thank you to Well Beyond Breast Cancer & Amanda Amanda Grilli │ Breast Cancer Recovery & Lymphedema Expert for including me as a trusted therapy partner 🫶🏽 And for the work you do to help make supportive care more accessible for breast cancer survivors 🎀

And a special thank you to Sisters Network Inc. for creating the space to have these conversations. As a Black woman and a healthcare provider, it means a lot to be able to support an organization working to close the gaps in education, resources, and support for Black breast cancer survivors and thrivers 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾

Being able to talk about the importance of breast cancer rehab and lymphedema care in a space like this was really special to me 🥹

There is still so much education needed around what happens AFTER breast cancer treatment, and I’m grateful to be able to share what I know and hopefully help more women know that this type of support exists.

Grateful for the work, the conversations, and the organizations making it happen 🤩

Today marks the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

This Saturday, Oct 3, I’m honored to be presenting at the Sisters Network National Summit alongside the incredible Amanda Grilli, Amanda Grilli │ Breast Cancer Recovery & Lymphedema Expert , founder of Well Beyond Breast Cancer 💗

As a proud partner of WBBC, I get to be part of work that helps survivors feel supported long after treatment ends. Our topic: Supporting Recovery & Quality of Life: The Role of Breast Cancer Rehabilitation 💪🏽

Healing doesn’t end when treatment does. Rehab and lymphedema care can change how someone feels in their body, and in their life, long after surgery and treatment. This month and every month, every survivor deserves access to that care.
