đźš© 5 Red Flags of Narcissism

1. Lack of empathy: Dismisses your feelings and will often become frustrated or angry when you’re upset.

2. Struggles to take accountability: Uses blame, manipulation, and gaslighting to deflect responsibility.

3. Superiority complex: Acts as though they’re better than others. Rules they enforce on others often don’t apply to them.

4. Needs constant validation: Craves attention, admiration, and reassurance.

5. Extreme sensitivity to criticism: Reacts defensively, angrily, or with contempt when challenged.

• Avoiding your childhood trauma or denying its existence will only hurt those around you.

• Spiritually bypassing your childhood trauma will mitigate symptoms but eventually bite you in the ass.

• Unconditional love ≠ unconditional tolerance.

• Empathy and compassion ≠ staying in a relationship where you’re not fulfilled.

• Staying in a relationship with someone with toxic patterns towards you will only enable their behavior.

• If you truly love someone and want the best for them, you must love yourself first. That often means letting them go so you both can heal.

• Narcissism isn’t typically something that’s healed and corrected in a matter of months. Plant medicine and experts in trauma therapy can speed up the process. Talk therapy will take much much longer.

• Romantic solitude during the healing phase could be best so no one else is hurt during the process.

• Raising children with someone with these tendencies who isn’t working diligently to correct them will continue the cycle.

• Breaking generational trauma is not fun work, but it’s necessary for the evolution of our souls. ❤️

🖤These are all just the opinions I’ve formed from my own life experience.

I started learning more about narcissism after being In relationships with 2 men with these tendencies, the first relationship being 10 years ago (textbook narcissism with abuse) and the second more recently (spiritual narcissism with less apparent symptoms, frequency of symptoms, and detectability).

I’m not an expert.
I don’t know anything about anything.
Agree with what you want.
The rest is up for

To be fair, I do workout with my headphones 80% of the time, but when I am trying to make friends, I actually put in effort instead of complaining that it’s impossible to meet people in 2026 🫶🏻

Sometimes I think to myself my skin is horrible.

My lips are too small for my face and my lip filler looks ridiculous.

My nose is too big.

My faded eyebrow microblading is distracting unless I cover it up.

My chin is too small. My lips stick out further than my chin.

My jawline isn’t sharp enough.

My eye hollows are getting worse and the layer of skin underneath my eyes are thinning.

And then I remind myself I’ve been on socials way too much and I don’t actually feel that way about myself.

And none of it even matters.

And who the f**k cares if my face isn’t Hollywood-level perfect.

I’m grateful for my plethora of genetic gifts and also grateful for my imperfections.

I took these photos after doing an at-home chemical peel…. And while analyzing the “before” photos, found myself thinking these thoughts ^^^ figured I’d share 🤷🏻‍♀️
