Most people think face oils just sit on your skin.

Cafestol, found primarily in unrefined green coffee bean oil, is a lipid barrier stimulator. It works with your skin’s own biology to support ceramide production rather than sitting on the surface as a simple occlusive. It also has melanogenesis inhibition properties, which helps even out skin tone over time.
