Hi 👋 I’m Megan Nicole Boyd 🫧 an artist, teacher, & astrologer with & .heyhero 🪐
I received degrees in Psychology & Classical Studies. Since then I’ve been finding my way with crochet! 🧶 Taking you along on the journey to share how the cosmos inform & inspire me✨ in 2016 I stared Odyssey Designs as a blog to explore where inspiration & creation meet. 🌾 Growing into a crochet shop & mentorship tool 🦢 my goal is to help you 🧠 learn, engage, navigate & activate archetypal patterns with deeper awareness & pleasure.🤍🪷

The electricity of connection ⚡️
Unearthed some of my favorite Polaroids 🎞 👁 didn’t get many pictures this year, so these felt super special, deserving to have their premiere.✨

Honoring the difference between Image & Identity. 📸
Taking these headshots, I felt they captured a fun side of me. 🤩✌️One that at the time, I was consumed navigating. 🧭✨ Even with a degree in Classics, It wasn’t always easy to honor my aptitude for patterns, glyphs, & graphics.
👑 Pageantry pushed me to embrace the best version of me. Looking back, it push me pretty far out from my window of tolerance actually. ⚡️
🕊 Although I wouldn’t change a thing. The experience taught me so much about my decisions and the impact of intertwining with Other’s vision 🧩
A lot can be said with a headshot, major thanks to all involved for creating a space to share a little bit of my story 🧠
🪐 Fluent in the language of math, I’d say some pictures are truly worth infinite words, but I felt this quote from The Library fit mine perfectly ~
“A mind with the whole universe inside. That beautiful mind, it’s not for the fairytale endings. It’s for finding the edges & drawing the maps, so that others can follow.” 📚👣 🧶🧘‍♀️

What I made to I’d wear & what I actually did…

This lightning in a bottle I took my mom. It was her first festival & the dustiest one I’ve experienced.
Not without its challenges, the weekend went by in the blink of an eye. 😜
Each time I attend lib ⚡️it has a profound effect on me. Adding family to the mix broadened my perspective in ways I wasn’t expecting & renewed my reason for being there to begin with. 🌒✨
Its alway a pleasure teaching my craft in the ArtClave, a huge thank you to all who made it to
Finding Your Way With Crochet on Sunday & worked to make it possible. 🧶 More tutorials & patterns 🔜
If you made it to the Kid Zone, you might have seen some of my art 🤖 If this year taught me anything, it’s every ending brings with it a fresh start. 🪢
Listen to where your soul leads, and approach each interaction with the patience and peace. ✌️

With the moon reaching fullness during the first weekend of coachella 🌒✨ I was excited to see how it’d play out for me.🪐
🧶 Not only was my sun in the same sign as the pink moon 💖🌝 But also my natal chart had 3 planets conjunct (or hanging out at the same degree) too! ♎️🕊

Together Jupiter, Mercury & Mars form what’s called a stellium in my natal chart. 🌐 If you have a clump of planets in the same sign like this, it can feel as if a lot of energy is focused on one area of life. 🫠🍀

When cosmic bodies transit or pass these spots in the sky, they get super charged! 🌟Shining a light on areas of our life, that want to be embraced & embodied. 🫶

Currently we are all experiencing a stellium in Pisces💧
♓️ After the event, Mars made a palpable move into the musical water sign. Joining Venus, Jupiter & Neptune at a place they haven’t been together since the 1800’s! ☄️

So if you’re still soaking in the excitement, sweet❣️This is a time to expand our empathy & direct our energy internally. 🤍

As the final sign of the zodiac, Pisces carries with it the knowledge and understanding of the previous signs. 👣 🐳
