This year, the Be Well Capstone Event (Saturday, April 25) is introducing mini health and wellness seminars presented by local health and wellness experts. They will include approximately fifteen minutes of health information and practical, applicable health tips.

Iovera cryoneurolysis is a new, advanced therapy to treat chronic pain. It involves "freezing" nerves in a particular area of the body and can provide long-lasting pain relief. This therapy has multiple randomized controlled trials (RCT's) to demonstrate it's effectiveness and is an FDA approved treatment for pain.

This therapy is most commonly used for chronic knee and shoulder pain, but can also be used for hip and low back pain as well. It is currently covered by Medicare insurance and some commercial insurance plans.

This therapy is often used before a knee or shoulder replacement surgery to assist in postoperative pain control and speed of recovery.
