One of the best parts of our day is when surrogates and Intended Parents include us by sharing funny stories, or sweet moments, during their journey.

Transfer day is emotional. Months of clearances, legal, and waiting come down to this one short appointment, and everyone in that room feels it. Then someone says something like this and the weight of the moment gets lighter.

It’s one of our favorite things about the surrogates we work with. Regardless of the pressure they may feel in the moment (wanting it to work so badly for the families they are supporting) and they still show up as completely themselves. ❤️

Two of our families have their embryo transfers this week, one yesterday and one today 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Transfer day comes after months of preparing from medical clearance, legal contracts, weeks of medications and lining checks. Then the procedure itself is over in minutes.

Then comes the dreaded two-week wait. For most, it is the hardest part of the whole process.

Sending so much love to both sets of Intended Parents and their wonderful surrogates. These moments are so precious and we are honored to be part of them.

Here’s my response when my oldest daughter asked if she looks like her gestational carrier.

One of our members inside our Intended Parent Community shared that analogy (I commonly use kangaroo example but I am really loving the cookie) AND she has a book coming out soon, so stay tuned!
