Baltimore — 5 days away. 🎹💛

On Monday evening, I’m sitting down at the grand piano at Govans Presbyterian Church for Songs That Carry Us: Songs for Stillness, Strength, and Soul.

This will be an hour built around originals & classic songs that have stayed with us—songs that have strengthened us, comforted us, reminded us, made us smile, and sometimes carried us when we needed carrying.

I’ll be singing, playing the grand piano, improvising, sharing stories, and allowing the evening to unfold in some of the ways you’ve come to expect when I create an experience.

And we’re recording it LIVE.

Come to work with me. 💛🎹

This time, 5M took me to Autumn Lake in Sykesville for my 5M Music, Movement & Memory experience with the residents.

One of my favorite things about this work is watching a room become a community.

We sing. We move. We remember. We laugh. We participate. And somewhere along the way, we’re creating new memories together too.

Thank you to the residents and team at Autumn Lake for welcoming me into your community.

And if you know a senior community, assisted-living community or organization that could use an experience like this, I’d love for you to share this with them. 💛

Our Finding Calm Together family keeps growing. 💛

Today I’m celebrating and welcoming our newest Founding Supporters and Founding Circle —people who have chosen to put their names behind this work while we’re still writing its very first chapter.

Thank you for believing in Finding Calm Together and helping us to carry this work & vision forward. I don’t take your support lightly.

And now we get to celebrate what that support helped make possible:

The first Finding Calm Together CDs will be ready THIS WEEKEND. 💿🙌🏾

And remember—you do not need a CD player to enjoy your copy.

Each CD includes a QR code on the back that connects you to the digital album, so you can listen through the streaming platforms you already use—including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and more. And yes… you can even ask Alexa to play it. 😆

The physical CD is more than a way to listen. These first 100 copies are a commemorative piece of the beginning of Finding Calm Together—something tangible from the chapter we’re creating right now.

And the Founding Supporters campaign is still open for anyone who would like to become part of that chapter and get your signed & numbered copy from this first 100 that are moving quickly!

To every person who has supported, shared, listened, encouraged and believed:

Thank you for helping us to find calm together. 💛

The first CDs are almost here. 💿🎹🗣️🛁

I’m Jumping for Joy! 🤩🕺🏽

The first 100 Finding Calm Together CDs are officially on their way—and they’re scheduled to arrive THURSDAY Sept. 10th!

A few weeks ago, I was asking this community to help me bring the first pressing into the world.

Now they’re actually coming.

Thank you to every Founding Supporter who believed in this vision before there was even a physical CD to hold.

Finding Calm Together started as an experience in a room. Then it became an album. Now the first 100 physical copies are almost here.

And the bigger vision remains: taking this experience into communities and spaces where more of us can pause, breathe, listen and find calm together.

But today?

I’m letting myself jump for joy. 😂💿🎹🗣️🛁

Baltimore — save the date. 🎹🗣️🎤 ❤️

On Monday, September 14, I’m inviting you into this beautiful sanctuary for Songs That Carry Us: Songs for Strength, Stillness & the Soul.

This will be a free, one-hour solo piano & vocal concert & live recording built around songs that have a way of staying with us—songs that remind us, ground us, move us, and sometimes carry us when we need them most.

I’ll be at the grand piano, singing and playing, and I’ll also be bringing some of the sound and improvisational elements that have become part of the way I create experiences—including my rain stick. 🌧️🎹🛁

Before there can be 100… there has to be one. 💛

Today, the production proof for Finding Calm Together arrived.

I opened it, put it in the CD player, pressed play—and heard this project on a physical CD for the very first time.

There’s something different about holding something in your hands that began as an experience in a room.

Finding Calm Together began as a live 5M Piano Sound Bath & Nervous System Reset. Then it became an album. Then a community of Founding Supporters helped make it possible for me to take the next step toward pressing the first 100 physical copies.

And now… there’s one. 💛

The physical CD is also intended to be a commemorative piece from the beginning of something larger: my vision of bringing Finding Calm Together experiences into spiritual communities, wellness communities, organizations and gathering spaces in more places.

Thank you to every person who helped this get from an idea, to an experience, to a recording, to something I can now hold in my hands.

We’re finding calm together. 🎹

The proof is approved. The first 100 are officially going into production. 💛

What if curiosity is part of how we find our way back to ourselves?

During today’s 5M Piano Sound Bath & Nervous System Reset at One God One Thought Center, a familiar Earth, Wind & Fire chorus became a doorway back to something we sometimes lose as adults:

wonder.

The freedom to explore without already knowing the answer.
To imagine.
To remember.
To look up at the sky and simply wonder what’s possible.

Nervous system regulation doesn’t always have to look like sitting perfectly still and trying to quiet the mind.

Sometimes it can sound like a familiar song.
Sometimes it can feel like remembering.
Sometimes it can be singing together.

And sometimes the reset is simply giving ourselves permission to become curious again.

TONIGHT. 🎹🔥

I’m back at RYE of BALTIMORE in Fells Point for another night of The Aaron Hill Experience.

Soul. Hip-hop. Jazz. Funk. Improvisation. Vocals. Keys, Bass, Loops. And wherever the room takes us.

One of my favorite things about these nights is that I never completely know what’s going to happen—and that’s part of the experience.

If you’re in Fells Point Baltimore, come spend your Saturday night with us.

Come through. Bring somebody. Let’s make some music together.

For one moment, you do not have to be the one holding everything together. 💛

This is a moment from a 5M Piano Sound Bath & Nervous System Reset I facilitated with the Spiritmuv community.

One of the things I remind people often is that rest does not always mean sleep.

Sometimes rest is simply having a few minutes where you are not responsible for fixing, holding, managing, caretaking, or supporting anyone else.

A few minutes where the support gets to come toward you.

That is part of what I create through these 5M experiences: live piano, breath, grounding, body awareness, sound, stillness, and permission to come back to yourself.

I offer 5M Piano Sound Bath & Nervous System Reset experiences for churches, spiritual communities, wellness organizations, retreats, conferences, and other gatherings.

If you’d like to explore bringing this experience to your community or organization, send me a message. 🎹
