💜 WHEN GREAT LEADERS DREAM BIG FOR OUR CHILDREN, THE FUTURE GETS BRIGHTER. 💜

Dr. Alan Silber and I were absolutely elated and deeply honored to have the opportunity to meet this morning with MDCPS Superintendent-Elect Rafael Villalobos at Miami’s Community News breakfast gathering.🌹

From our conversation, one thing became crystal clear: his heart is with our children and our youth. ❤️
Brilliant, charismatic, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about education, Superintendent-Elect Villalobos shared a vision that goes beyond academics‼️His vision is to prepare our young people not only for success in the classroom, but for success in life.🏆

And that is where my heart truly comes alive. 💜

At Powerhouse Workshops & Consulting, we believe that emotional intelligence, empathy, resilience, self-awareness, and the ability to navigate life’s challenges are just as essential as a textbook. When we teach our children how to understand themselves and others, as well as how to navigate the emotion of anger in a nonviolent manner, we give them tools that can change the trajectory of their lives.👌

Today’s conversation felt like the beginning of something very special.

Sometimes, one conversation can plant a seed. 🌱
And sometimes, that seed can grow into an opportunity to change thousands of young lives.💐💐💐

It was an incredible honor for Wes Saunders and I to teach Emotional Intelligence to the youth at the TGK Boot Camp.
