It can be confusing as a patient trying to understand what your options are for surgical facial rejuvenation when surgeons don’t use recognizable terms like “facelift or neck lift” and instead use exotic sounding buzz words and describe what they claim is a procedure so novel that they need to trademark it. The reality is that this is all clever marketing designed to convince patients they offer a procedure nobody else does. Every surgeon approaches facelifts in a different way but attempts to claim one is performing a unique procedure that they invented and nobody else performs is generally just marketing hype and being intentionally poorly transparent. Many excellent surgeons are excellent at marketing, so this isn’t to say that they may not perform fantastic work. But as a patient, its best to ignore the distracting words and focus on the results being delivered
