If your daughter has an iPhone, watch this.
I typed in the numbers I see most often — 5 hours on a school day, 8 on the weekend.
91 days of 2026. Gone.
That’s the low end…
I had a girl whose numbers were 10 hours on a school day and 17 on the weekend.
That’s 243 days. Two thirds of her entire year. And she picked up her phone 252 times in a single day — once every four minutes of her waking life. 🤯
I had a girl in my program who spent an hour every single day just keeping up her Snapchat streaks. When her mom finally took her phone, the first week was torture. Week two, her mom looked at her and said — “you’re a new human!”
She hasn’t had Snapchat in four years. She told me she feels free.
Here’s what I know after 25 years of working with teenage girls: she already knows it’s too much. She just needs you to help her see the number — and then help her do something about it before another 91 days disappear.
