I wanted to give a huge thank you to students of the BPCC OTA program for providing a few patients of mine with new/adaptive toys!! They loved them all so much! ❤️💚🎄

Students were given case studies of pediatric patients. The purpose of this assignment was to apply occupational therapy principles to the selection and adaptation of toys that support play, development, and participation for children with disabilities. They must consider the child’s needs, family context, and environment, and design one adapted toy using a switch.
