Almost 80% of maternal deaths in the U.S. are preventable, and most happen within six weeks of birth. Yet for many new moms, the first follow-up visit is still six weeks out.

That gap is why Millie exists. Our midwifery-led, OB-supported model brings midwives into a modern clinic, with postpartum care that includes a home visit before the six-week mark.

Our Certified Nurse Midwives take a low-intervention approach to pregnancy and birth, backed by research and by OB-GYNs who co-manage your care when needed.

Most of our midwives are also Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners, so they can support you through gynecology care from preconception all the way through menopause.

Together, we’re opening our first joint maternity and women’s health clinic in Palo Alto in late November, with a second location coming to the South Bay soon. The clinics brings together Millie’s innovative midwifery-led, relationship-based care and El Camino Health’s nationally recognized maternity services and extensive women’s health expert network.⁠
