🌟 We’re loving having Joanna with us this month so far!

Joanna, a senior at , is spending time with Dynamic as part of her final senior project. She’s been immersing herself in our Rock Steady Boxing program and learning more about Parkinson’s care, bringing great energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm every step of the way. 💙🥊

We love welcoming students who are interested in learning more about healthcare, wellness, and serving older adults and individuals with neurological conditions. Seeing the next generation explore these fields is always inspiring!

Interested in volunteering or learning more about our student opportunities? Reach out to us. It’s a great way to gain hands-on experience, learn from our amazing team of clinicians, and make a meaningful impact in the community.

Happy 12th Anniversary to the one and only Lindsay! 🎉

For over a decade, Lindsay has been a cornerstone of the Dynamic team. As our incredible 1st SLP hired in 2014, she doesn’t just help her patients find their voices—she leads by example, using her own “loud voice with intent” to inspire everyone around her. 🗣️✨

Whether she’s bringing her contagious energy to the ring as a Rock Steady Boxing coach with her starbucks, sharing her legendary sense of humor, or counting down the days until Halloween 🎃, Lindsay makes a massive difference in the lives she touches every single day.

Somehow, she manages to juggle it all—being an amazing wife and mom —with total grace and a lot of laughs. 💖

Lindsay, thank you for everything you do for Dynamic. We are so lucky to have you in our corner. We love you! 🥂✨

Ten years! It feels like a lifetime ago, and yet, like it was only yesterday.

When Alysha started with us back in 2016, our world looked very different. We were working from home, no clinic, navigating the chaos of growing a business, and she was managing raising three little ones under 5. Back then, it was just a handful of us, paper intakes, and a lot of heart. If you look at where we started—just an idea—and compare it to where we stand today, you’ll find one constant that hasn’t changed: Alysha.

Alysha, you are the heartbeat of Dynamic. You have evolved from those early days of kitchen-table hustle into the absolute glue that holds every piece of this team together. To our patients, our staff, our vendors, and our referral partners—you know exactly what I mean. You’ve felt her dedication, her patience, and her unparalleled kindness every single time you speak with her.

They say it takes a village, but for us, it took you. You are the gold standard, the steady hand, and the one who makes the impossible happen every single day. We are endlessly blessed to have walked this decade by your side.

And for everyone watching: we’ve only just begun. We have some truly big things happening this summer—stay tuned, because the best is yet to come.

But today is all about you. Alysha, thank you for every sacrifice, every late night, every problem solved, and every smile shared. You are our superwoman, our backbone, and our dear friend. We love you more than words can say.

Happy 10th Anniversary, Alysha! Here’s to the legacy we’ve built and the magic we’re still creating.

Give a shout-out to help us celebrate Alysha!

World Parkinson's Congress Recap ✨

Jen returned from an incredible week at the 7th World Parkinson's Congress in Phoenix, and her heart (and notebook)were full. There is something truly transformative about being in a space with 4,000 people—researchers, clinicians, people living with Parkinson’s, and care partners—all moving in the same direction toward better care and a cure.

One of the best parts of WPC is the "hallway track"—those unexpected reunions and deep-dive conversations with the best in the business. It was so wonderful to catch up with:

💙 Heather Cianci (PT, Dan Aaron Parkinson’s Center)
💙 Julia Wood (OT, Lewy Body Disease Association)
💙 Mitch Strobin (In Step Mobility/U-Step)
💙 Scott McLeod (Strydar)
💙 The powerhouse ladies of NeuroCollaborative
💙 Judith Sachs from Anyone Can Move
💙 Our amazing clinical partners at PWR!, Speak Out! Rock Steady Boxing, and LSVT BIG!

From the latest in "Need for Athletic" training to innovative ways we can better support care partners, I can’t wait to bring these insights into our classes and programming!

Stay tuned over the next few weeks as our team starts rolling out these new takeaways. We’re just getting started! 🥊✨

May was a great month for networking and senior community connections!

Jen and Alysha also had the honor of being a sponsor at the Professional Care Alliance of the Delaware Valley (PCADV) Luncheon. They were surrounded by caring senior care providers and even got to meet special guest speakers, legendary Phillies player Tommy Greene and Flyers star Joe Watson! They left the event inspired by their key messages: the power of a team approach, striving for what you want, and believing in your dreams.

Lindsay and Jen presented on cognition and brain health at the Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church Parkinson’s Support group, along with Medtronic (DBS) and Penn Movement Disorder’s amazing social worker, Sue.

Dr. Natalie and Dr. Barrie also had a blast at the very first Wayne Senior Center Tech Fair! They loved showcasing ways to boost aging brain and body agility using fun tools like Blazepods and the Clock Yourself app.

We wrapped things up by participating in the Ashbridge Community Health Fair! Ashbridge House is going to be an amazing addition to the local Main Line community for senior programming, and we loved connecting with everyone there.

May is both Stroke Awareness Month and Blood Pressure Awareness Month — and the connection between the two is critical. ❤️🧠

Dr. Barrie shares an important reminder: high blood pressure is one of the leading risk factors for stroke, yet many people do not realize they even have hypertension.

In the U.S.:
• Nearly 800,000 people experience a stroke each year
• Nearly half of adults have high blood pressure
• About 1 in 5 adults with hypertension are unaware

Monitoring your blood pressure, staying active, and working with your healthcare and therapy team can play an important role in prevention, mobility, balance, and overall brain health.
