Hi guys. It’s been a crazy summer with people really hurting and feeling the wrath and the chaos that surrounds us!!!
All throughout what has happened and what is to come, I need you to stamp this into your brains!!!
We Rise by lifting others. Don’t ever forget that as a collective we are a formidable force. Alone we are vulnerable!!! If you are feeling alone, just remember that feelings aren’t facts and pick up that ten tone phone!!! Rising by lifting others is a fact!!!!
Happy Labor Day so far!!!!

Hey everyone
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted and I apologize for that. I have been besieged by so many garbage websites touting AA as a bad thing in spite of it saving millions of lives all over the world.
The common denominator of all of it are people who want a shortcut or are simply not willing to look in the mirror and work on themselves. It’s always someone else’s fault and I regard that as dysfunctional sobriety hangin on by a thread.
I wanted to take moment to open this up to anyone who has questions or concerns no matter how silly you might think they may be.
All of us with strong sobriety need to be a lighthouse. I say instead of counting days, let’s make everyday count and help others who might have questions or are still struggling. Godspeed to all of you and keep going!!

Greetings Everyone

Just wanted to chime in about some of the seemingly ridiculous websites touting sobriety.
On September 11th I will celebrate 22 years of recovery. What I have learned that stands out the most about my recovery is that the journey really is about growing up and becoming an adult.
One of the best books to read regarding this is a book called Emotional Sobriety-The Next Frontier written by Bill W. He recognized the childish behaviors that crop up along the way and the need for clarification.
So many people in AA stop doing the work as they age and I can tell you, it is the number one reason for relapse. Exercise your mind every day about the gift you’ve been given and work to be a better version of yourself than you were yesterday and beyond.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything. I’ve been busy down in Virginia helping my daughter and her husband move to Connecticut.
I also became a grandfather June 5th to a baby girl named Annabelle in honor of a child I lost in 2018. She and her sister were best friends so she wanted to name her newborn after her. A sweet tribute that brought tears to my eyes.

Hey
I just wanted to chime in. It’s been a really fu**ed up world these past 45 days and I’m sure many are feeling the effects of gas, the economy, chaotic governance and general fear for the future. Thank God we have a solid program and a book with prayers, promises,directions and warnings to help us navigate thru. I always say stay close to your loved ones and your recovery network and we will be better for it when the smoke finally clears. If you need to lean, then lean and support all those you can among us
