The Lunar Eclipse Completes the Eclipse Pair | Weekly Energy August 23 - 30, 2026

The deep partial lunar eclipse in Pisces arrives August 27 evening and completes the eclipse pair that opened with the Leo solar eclipse on August 12. This is the last Pisces lunar eclipse for many years. Mercury enters Virgo on August 25 then reaches cazimi in the heart of the Sun on August 27, offering a flash of crystalline clarity just before the eclipse begins. The eclipse peaks at 12:12 AM EST August 28.

Western: the Moon is at 4°53’ Pisces bringing dissolution, surrender, healing, what lies beneath the surface. Vedic: the Moon is at 10°40’ Aquarius in Shatabhisha nakshatra the Hundred Healers, ruled by Rahu (the same node that creates the eclipse). Together: hidden truths surfacing, karmic clearing, collective healing.

The numerological sequence August 27-29: Universal 9 (completion) → Universal 1 (new beginning) → Universal 11 (Master Number of spiritual awakening and intuition). The clearest threshold signature of the summer.
