During “peer to peer” calls:
- often speak to non surgeons
- healthcare provider on other line rarely has read my notes
- one time looked up the surgeon and he lost medical license to even practice
- been asked if I tried acupuncture before signing up a young female soccer player for ACL surgery

ACL fixation with metal screws may be fast, not requiring a tap prior to screw insertion. However, the metallic screw can complicate revisions requiring screw removal because a reamer cannot drill through the metallic screw. The metallic screw can also add artifact to any postoperative MRIs. In this video, we demonstrate removal of a metallic screw placed by an outside surgeon for ACL revision.
