Meet our Spotlight Teacher, Alexis!

"Howdy! My name is Alexis, and this year I am excited to teach 7th and 8th Grade Life Skills at AMCMS. While teaching isn’t new to me, this program is a new adventure, and I can’t wait to see how much my students grow throughout the year. A $250 gift card would help provide differentiated and individualized hands-on materials and real-world learning experiences that prepare students with diverse needs for greater independence in the present and in their future. From cooking, cleaning, and laundry to financial literacy and academics, these resources would help equip my students with skills they’ll use for years to come. 26-27 school year, here we come!!"
