Most people don’t expect to find the main ingredient in their skincare grazing in someone’s backyard… but here we are. 🐄
These cows are literally in my backyard. I can look out my kitchen window and see them every day. They’re raised by a local farmer, and when the time comes, they’re taken from our backyard to the processor. These cows are part of the story behind almost every Little Hands & Home product.
I’m not reinventing skincare. I’m bringing back something our greats already knew.
Tallow has been used in soaps, balms, and skincare for generations. As commercial skincare became more common, those old traditions slowly faded, and what was once a valued ingredient often became just another byproduct.
I take a lot of pride in knowing where my ingredients come from and love being a small part of bringing that tradition back—with simple ingredients, thoughtfully sourced, and handcrafted right here in Wisconsin. 🤍
