Members of our Paid Care team were incredibly proud to support the Annual Boots & Bourbon Event this past Friday, benefiting the amazing Camp Red Cedar! 🐴🏕️

We absolutely love highlighting accessible Medicaid waiver resources, and Camp Red Cedar is truly one of the best in the state.

Nestled on 57 beautiful acres of meadows, woods, trails, and lakefront, Camp Red Cedar features everything you love about a traditional camp—games, swimming, canoeing, arts and crafts, nature hikes, and singing around the campfire—all within a completely wheelchair-accessible and inclusive environment for people of all abilities! 🌲🛶

What else do they offer?

🐎 Year-round therapeutic & conventional horseback riding

🥾 One-time scheduled trail rides

The best part? It is often highly accessible for families. Camp Red Cedar is frequently paid for through scholarships and waiver funding for children and adults on the Family Supports, H&W Waiver, and CIH Waivers.
