The 36th Annual American Herbalists Guild Symposium will take place August 14–16, 2026, at the historic YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in the heart of the Southern Appalachian Mountains, just outside Asheville, NC. Surrounded by lush forests and the abundance of late summer in Appalachia, this year’s gathering invites herbalists from across the country to come together in celebration and community.

This year’s theme, Facilitating Regulation: The Role of Clinical Herbalism in Autoimmunity & Chronic Conditions, explores the many ways herbalists support resilience, restoration, and balance in the face of complex chronic illness. Programming throughout the weekend will weave together contemporary clinical insight and traditional wisdom through workshops focused on clinical practice, formulation strategies, ethnobotany, and the evolving role of herbalism within modern healthcare. Love this from :

Wild & edible spring is here 🌸 There’s a brief, luminous window each year when the light stretches longer, and flowers emerge in full expression. Across the Americas, these blooms have long been gathered, infused, and prepared as seasonal plant foods, guiding the body gently out of winter and into renewal.

In herbalism, flowers are concentrated centers of vitality. Rich in volatile oils, pigments, minerals, and subtle energetics, they offer support for digestion, mood, circulation, and overall balance.... plus much more! From the bitter awakening of dandelion to the mineral richness of red clover, the calming touch of chamomile, and the aromatic florals of Mesoamerica, each bloom generously offers us flavor and function.

To eat flowers is to align with nature at its peak expression, when chemistry is most vibrant and effects most immediate. What we taste becomes how we transition. And now, you can bring this practice into your own kitchen!

**** please note that Wisteria flowers are the only edible part of the plant; every other part of the plant is toxic
