CBT can help with identity, and life transitions. In my practice, I use a variety of tools to support my clients, but I primarily use and appreciate CBT the most. It feels the most natural to me, and the research behind it for addressing a number of concerns is extensive and well-supported.
CBT can help a person by:
Identifying Problems: Recognizing thoughts and behaviors that cause stress or difficulties.
Changing Thoughts: Learning to replace negative or unhelpful thoughts with positive and helpful ones.
Changing Behaviors: Developing healthier habits and behaviors to improve daily life.
