Born and raised in Mahoning County, Joy is a wife and mother of six who understands how easily the demands of a busy life can leave us feeling physically and mentally depleted. She has created a peaceful, welcoming space where her clients can slow down, release tension, and return to a greater sense of calm and well-being.

Joy’s services include:

⚾🌿 Dr. Rachael O’Connell, ND had a wonderful time at the Mahoning Valley Scrappers Wellness Night, sharing how naturopathic medicine helps patients achieve better health and wellness through her offices, Ohio Naturopathic⁠ in Boardman and Suzelis Holistic Health in Newton Falls!

It was a great evening connecting with the community, answering questions, and spreading awareness about natural healthcare options. Dr. O’Connell was also joined by members of her church family and the youth group from Grace Fellowship Church⁠ in Niles, making the night even more special.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit—we loved meeting you and look forward to continuing to serve our community! 💚⚾

But now, naturopathic medicine faces a real threat: The U.S. Department of Education's proposed rule (RISE) would exclude the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) from "professional degree" status. This could reverse 20+ years of recognition, limit student aid, and reduce access to natural care for everyone. 😔
