Applicants that have a conviction record of multiple offenses for violence, theft, crimes against others in general, any sexual offenses, or gang affiliation are not accepted. River Sober Living has a “Zero Tolerance Policy.” If you drink alcohol or use drugs or any mind-altering substances, even just a little bit, you can’t live at a River House, as it is a liability to others' sobriety. We realize that relapse is a process of recovery, but If you are not self-motivated and serious about gaining and sustaining sobriety, River is not going to be a good fit for you. River strives to supply avenues that foster personal growth by providing our Residents with opportunities for family engagement, volunteerism, recreation, hobbyists activities, and professional and life-skill development. Current residents qualify for pro bono mental health therapy and chiropractic care at local clinics.
