Boise Yoga Girl

Boise Yoga Girl I teach to the subtle body. I teach students why we move the way we move, not just how.

Today, the way I teach is shaped by everything I’ve lived through—my burnout, my healing, my curiosity, and my belief that yoga is as much internal as it is external.

✨ How might you feel after a Myofascial Release class? ✨

Imagine walking out feeling like you’ve created more space inside your body.

🌿 Shoulders soften.
🌿 Hips move more freely.
🌿 Breathe deeper.
🌿 Mind quiets.

Myofascial release isn’t about stretching harder—it’s about helping your fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds every muscle, release built-up tension from stress, repetitive movement, workouts, long hours at a desk, or simply life.

Many people leave class feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected to their bodies. Some notice improved flexibility, better posture, easier movement, or even a deeper night’s sleep.

Give yourself an hour to slow down, breathe, and release what your body has been carrying.

✨ Join me at Sunken Shala
🗓️ Thursday at 4:00 PM
🗓️ Friday at 9:00 AM

There are so many little moments that remind me why I love this community. ❤️

A huge thank you to Morgan for hand-delivering a fresh loaf of her incredible homemade bread to The Litl Studio. It couldn’t have come at a better time.

After spending the entire weekend moving, that bread became my fuel. Between unpacking boxes and making trip after trip, it kept me going—and every slice reminded me of the kindness that exists within this community.

It’s never just about yoga. It’s about people showing up for one another in simple, thoughtful ways. That’s what makes The Litl Studio feel like home.

Thank you, Morgan, for your generosity and for nourishing me in more ways than one. I’m so grateful to be part of this amazing community. 💛

A few nights ago we were reminded us just how incredible dogs are.

At 1:00 a.m., our little dog wouldn’t stop trying to wake us up. At first, we thought he just needed something, but he was persistent—almost like he was telling us something was wrong.

He was.

Booberry, our sweet St. Bernard, wasn’t feeling well. Thanks to our little guy refusing to let us sleep, we realized something was seriously wrong and were able to get Boo the help she needed.

Large, deep-chested dogs like St. Bernards are at risk for a life-threatening condition called gastric dilatation-volvulus (GDV), or “bloat,” where the stomach can twist (often called a stomach flip). When that happens, every minute matters. Without emergency treatment, it can quickly become fatal.

I truly believe our little dog saved Booberry’s life last night.

Dogs have an amazing ability to sense when something isn’t right. We spend so much time taking care of them, but sometimes they’re the ones taking care of us—and each other.

Give your pups an extra hug today. They love us more deeply than we can ever fully understand. ❤️🐾

We spend so much time replaying the stressful moments. We analyze them, revisit them, and carry them with us long after they’ve passed.

What if we gave our moments of calm the same attention?

What if we lingered in the steady breath, the quiet pause, the feeling of safety in our body? What if we let those moments settle into our nervous system instead of rushing past them?

Peace isn’t just something we stumble upon—it’s something we can practice noticing.

Today, when you find a moment of calm, don’t hurry through it. Stay there a little longer. Breathe a little deeper. Let your body remember what ease feels like.

There’s something special about finding a space that helps your nervous system soften before class even begins.

From the moment you walk into the yoga studio at Life Time, the pace seems to slow. The quiet, the warmth, and the thoughtful design create an environment where you can leave the outside world at the door for a little while.

It’s more than a place to practice poses—it’s a place to breathe deeply, move intentionally, and reconnect with yourself. Whether you’re joining a gentle practice or a stronger flow, the studio offers a sense of calm that’s hard to put into words.

If you’ve been craving a little more peace in your week, come roll out your mat. Your body and mind will thank you. 🤍. Life Time Eagle

Sometimes the greatest gift isn’t doing more—it’s slowing down.

Movement doesn’t always have to be intense to be transformative. A slow, mindful exploration of the spine—moving forward, back, side to side, twisting, and making gentle circles—can become a meditation in itself.

When movement is guided by breath instead of momentum, something begins to shift.

The body softens. The breath deepens. The nervous system settles. Areas of tension that have been hiding beneath the surface become easier to notice, creating an opportunity to respond with curiosity instead of force.

The spine is designed to move in every direction, yet many of us spend our days sitting, driving, scrolling, or repeating the same movement patterns. Taking time to restore that natural mobility isn’t just good for the body—it can quiet the mind, improve body awareness, and create a sense of calm that extends well beyond the mat.

Sometimes healing doesn’t come from doing more.
It comes from doing less… more intentionally.

If you’ve been feeling stiff, overwhelmed, or disconnected, consider slowing down. You might be surprised by how much your body has been waiting for your attention.

💛 Movement is medicine.
💛 Breath is your anchor.
💛 Presence is the practice.

If you’re looking for a place to slow down, reconnect, and move with intention, I’d love to welcome you to class.

There is something so special about watching your child become exactly who they’re meant to be.

I’m incredibly proud of my daughter. She didn’t rush into choosing a career because everyone else seemed to have it figured out. She took her time, explored what truly mattered to her, and waited until she found a profession that felt right.

Then she set a goal.

She worked hard, stayed committed, and achieved it—all while paying for her education herself. No shortcuts. No entitlement. Just determination, sacrifice, and perseverance.

As a parent, it’s easy to want our kids to have all the answers immediately. But sometimes the greatest gift is giving them the space to discover their own path. Watching her make thoughtful decisions, invest in herself, and follow through on her dreams has been one of my greatest joys.

Success isn’t about how quickly you get there—it’s about building a life you’re proud of, one intentional step at a time.

I couldn’t be prouder of the woman you’ve become. Congratulations on reaching this milestone. This is only the beginning, and I can’t wait to see where your journey takes you. ❤️ Ella Marcum

If anyone asks where my almost 10-year-old St. Bernard likes to cool off… apparently it’s on top of the hot tub. 😂🐾

She has a whole yard of shady spots, cool grass, and plenty of places to relax… but this is the spot she chooses on one of the hottest days. I don’t pretend to understand her logic anymore.

She’s almost 10 years old and still full of personality, stubbornness, and the same goofy spirit she’s always had. Every year with her feels like such a gift, and she continues to make us laugh daily.

Here’s to senior dogs who refuse to act their age and remind us that life is better when you do things your own way. ❤️🐶

What if the thing you’ve been carrying isn’t meant to be carried anymore?

The tension in your shoulders.
The tightness in your hips.
The stress sitting in your jaw.
The story you’ve been replaying over and over.

Movement has a way of creating space—not just in the body, but in the mind and heart too.

Whether you’re looking to move with more ease, feel stronger, breathe deeper, sleep better, or simply reconnect with yourself, I’d love to practice with you.

My classes blend mindful movement, breath, mobility, strength, and nervous system support to help you feel more at home in your body.

You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need to be experienced.
You just need to show up.

Come see what shifts when you give yourself an hour to move, breathe, and let go.

✨ Save this for the day your body is asking for care.
✨ Share with a friend who could use a reset.
✨ Follow for movement, fascia, nervous system, and yoga inspiration.
✨ Join me in class and experience it for yourself.
