Motherhood is hard no matter how old your kids are. I love how I am able to work my schedule around my kids, but my job isn't really flexible.

However, I love seeing how things work out. I was supposed to have a shift start at 8AM, but my client messaged last night that she didn't need me until noon. I was a little bummed, but have plenty of hours this week, so it didn't bug me too much.

Fast forward to today. One of my kids wasn't feeling well this morning and I knew she just needed a bit more sleep. I was able to allow her to take a 3 hr long nap and still get her to school by 10.

In the past few weeks, I have spoken to a lot of people I haven't seen in a long time. I just want to say thank you to all who silently follow me and have taken the time to tell me how much you love my baby posts.

When I lost my teaching job in May of 25, I never expected that I would be where I am today. Keep praying for me and the families I serve.

The bassinet belongs to the cat. The baby just borrows it from him. The bottle washer is also his personal toy. Don't leave your water unattended. He will knock it over. And if you start moving at 3am, he believes it is morning and he should be let out to feed.

Your favorite doula got to spend the afternoon on her porch relaxing before a crazy week. I have one client finishing and another starting so there are a lot of hours to work this week. Thankfully, the hubby is home to handle things here.
