This one made our hearts happy 🤍

Jen walked into our office with a breech baby and a lot of discomfort and pain in her low back and pelvis. She had two little ones to take care of already and was really wanting to enjoy the rest of her pregnancy and did not want to end up in a c-section if she could avoid it. She was exhausted and at her limit.

Fast forward two weeks, and baby had gone head down, her pelvis and low back felt better and better, she’s back to her life and she’s ready for the birth she dreamed about.

This is exactly why we do what we do. If you or someone you love is navigating pregnancy discomfort, pain, limited mobility or baby positioning you don’t have to just push through it and see what happens.

There is support. There is relief. There is something you can do about it to give yourself the season of pregnancy you always hoped for.

We would love to be a part of your journey. 🔗 Link in bio to book your appointment.

When a pregnant mama walks in bracing her low back, we know exactly what we’re looking for: sacral rotation, locked SI joints, and round ligaments pulling unevenly as her body adapts to carrying baby.

Here’s what the Webster Technique actually does: it restores balance to a pelvis that’s working overtime. We use specific, gentle contact on the sacrum — no cracking, no twisting. Just precise pressure to release the restriction and let the supporting ligaments find symmetry again.

What happens next is consistent: most mamas tell us their hips feel more even. Their next step feels lighter. The deep bracing pattern they didn’t even know they were holding starts to release.

This isn’t wishful thinking. It’s biomechanics. When the foundation of your pelvis is balanced, the rest of your body stops compensating. Rolling over stops hurting. Walking feels possible again.

You don’t have to brace through pregnancy.

You’ve been told to wait it out.

That it’s “just a phase.” That every baby goes through this around 4 months, 8 months, 12 months — and one day they’ll magically sleep again.

But here’s what most parents don’t hear: a sleep regression isn’t random. It usually lines up with a huge developmental leap — rolling, crawling, pulling up, teething, growth spurts.

Your baby’s little nervous system is processing more input than ever before, and if there’s already tension being held in their body from birth, those leaps can tip them straight into overload. That’s when the short naps, the 2 a.m. wake-ups, and the inconsolable evenings show up.

A regulated nervous system can move through a developmental leap quickly and efficiently and come out the other side. A dysregulated one gets stuck in it.

That’s where gentle chiropractic care comes in. We’re not “fixing” your baby — there’s nothing wrong with them. We’re helping their body release the tension that’s keeping their system stuck in overdrive, helping them integrate their brain leaping so they can actually settle, drop into deep sleep, and pass through the regression with ease instead of getting stranded in it.

The pressure we use is lighter than checking if an avocado is ripe. Most babies soften right on the table. And most parents text us within a few days saying some version of: “He slept four hours straight last night. First time in weeks.”

You don’t have to white-knuckle this phase. Your baby’s body is asking for support — and there’s a calm path forward.

Once the newborn haze lifts, parents are told things should be getting easier. And sometimes they do.

But sometimes there’s still something that just feels off — and that feeling is worth listening to.

Here’s what we see in babies between about 3 and 12 months:

Frequent night waking at the 45-minute mark is often less about sleep habits and more about a nervous system that can’t fully downshift into deep, restorative rest.

Positional preferences — always turning the same direction, resisting tummy time, or seeming uncomfortable on one side — can reflect tension in the neck or upper spine that developed during birth or early positioning.

Arching and stiffening during feeds can be reflux or physical discomfort that makes certain positions hard to sustain.

Persistent fussiness in an otherwise healthy baby is often the body’s way of saying it’s still carrying tension it can’t release on its own.

Asymmetrical movement or delayed milestones can sometimes be traced back to restricted mobility on one side — something gentle care can often help address early.

This stage of development moves fast. The nervous system, the spine, and the brain are all growing rapidly right now — and supporting that foundation early matters more than most parents realize.

Gentle, specific, and incredibly light. That’s what pediatric chiropractic care looks like for babies. Most settle right into it. 💚

Every newborn who comes in with feeding struggles gets assessed in three specific areas. Every single one.

1. Upper cervical spine and cranium. These top two vertebrae and the base of the skull are where the most birth pressure concentrates. Tension here limits head rotation — which is why so many babies only latch comfortably on one side. The nerves that coordinate sucking and swallowing also pass through this area.

2. Jaw and TMJ. Your baby’s jaw needs to open wide and move symmetrically for an effective latch. Birth tension in the muscles and fascia around the jaw creates clicking, shallow latching, and the exhaustion you see when your baby falls asleep before finishing a feed.

3. Sacrum. Most people don’t think of the low back when it comes to feeding. But the sacrum connects to the dural system — the membrane that runs from the skull all the way down the spine. Tension at the sacrum can create a pull that affects everything above it, including jaw and cranial mechanics.

These aren’t guesses. These are specific, assessable findings we check with every baby. When a mama says ‘something feels off with feeding’ — this is what we’re looking for.

When a pregnant mama comes in worried about positioning, she almost always says one of two things: ‘I feel like my body is too tight’ or ‘Is it too late?’

She’s usually right about the first one. And the answer to the second is almost always no.

Baby positioning isn’t luck. Your pelvis is the environment your baby lives in. When there’s tension in the sacrum, the SI joints, or the round ligaments, it limits the space baby has to find their optimal position.

The Webster Technique specifically addresses sacral misalignment and round ligament tension to restore pelvic balance. When we level the pelvis, babies often have room to do what they already want to do — settle head-down.

We don’t move babies. We make room. And when there’s room, babies often find their way.

Think you’re missing your old trail runs? Think again. Every step uphill with your little one isn’t just cardio — it’s extra mass × gravity × height. That’s more mechanical work than the guy jogging next to you.

And your kid? They’re exploring, learning, and building confidence alongside you.

Win-win: stronger dad, happier kid, unforgettable adventures. Parent life doesn’t slow you down — it levels you up.

POV: You’re 34 weeks. Your birth plan is written. Your bag is packed. But your body? Your body doesn’t feel ready.

Every step hurts. Sleep is a negotiation with your pelvis. You’re supposed to trust this body to birth your baby in a few weeks, but right now it feels like it’s working against you.

Here’s what we see in mamas at this stage: a sacrum that’s rotated from months of compensation. SI joints that are locked on one side and hypermobile on the other. Round ligaments so tight they’re pulling the pelvis forward. These aren’t just comfort issues — they directly affect how your pelvis opens during labor.

The Webster Technique addresses all three. Sacral alignment. Ligament tension. Nervous system regulation. When your pelvis is balanced, your body enters birth prepared instead of exhausted.

The compensation patterns you’ve been building for months don’t resolve during labor. They follow you into the delivery room. Supporting your pelvis now isn’t just about comfort. It’s birth preparation.

You don’t get these weeks back.

Colic isn’t a diagnosis. It’s a word that gets used when no one can explain why your baby is crying.

But there IS a reason. Birth is the most physically intense experience of your baby’s life. Their head and neck absorb tremendous pressure during delivery. That can create tension patterns — specifically in the upper cervical spine and cranium — that keep their nervous system stuck in overdrive.

When we work with crying babies, we’re assessing three specific things: upper cervical tension, cranial compression, and nervous system regulation. These aren’t guesses. They’re specific, measurable findings.

A baby in overdrive can’t settle. They cry. They arch. They stiffen. Not because something is wrong with them. Because their body is holding stress it can’t release alone.

The pressure we use to help? Lighter than you’d use to test an avocado. Most babies soften right on the table.

POV: You’re 31 weeks. You haven’t slept through the night in a month — not because of the baby, but because rolling over feels like your pelvis might split in half. Getting dressed takes strategy. Walking to the car takes courage.

You’ve told yourself this is just pregnancy. But something feels different. Deeper. Like one side of your body is working against the other.

When a mama like this comes in, here’s what we typically find: her sacrum is rotated. One SI joint is locked. Her round ligaments are pulling unevenly, creating a pelvis that’s working overtime on one side and barely moving on the other.

That’s not ‘normal pregnancy pain.’ That’s a structural imbalance your body can’t correct on its own.

The Webster Technique specifically addresses sacral alignment and ligament tension during pregnancy. Most mamas feel the shift before they leave the table.

You don’t have to count the painful rollovers anymore.

Your lactation consultant did their job beautifully. The positioning is right. The latch looks textbook. But your baby still clicks. Still arches. Still pulls off crying.

That’s not a failure of technique. That’s a sign there’s a layer underneath the latch that hasn’t been addressed yet.

When we assess newborns with feeding struggles, we’re looking at three specific areas: the upper cervical spine (which controls head rotation — that’s why many babies only latch well on one side), the jaw and TMJ (which needs to open wide and symmetrically for effective sucking), and the cranial base (where the nerves that coordinate sucking, swallowing, and breathing pass through).

Birth puts enormous pressure on all three areas. Even uncomplicated births. Even beautiful, empowering births.

The best outcomes we see are when families work with their LC AND get their baby’s body assessed for tension. Positioning plus comfort is the full picture.

The pressure we use? Lighter than you’d use to test a ripe avocado. Most babies relax right into it.

POV: You’re 33 weeks. The ultrasound shows breech. Your provider says ‘babies usually flip on their own.’ But inside, you’re already spiraling. Googling. Losing sleep. Wondering what you did wrong.

Here’s what no one has explained to you yet: your baby isn’t stuck. Your pelvis might just be tight.

The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment for pregnancy. It addresses sacral misalignment — the bone at the base of your spine that directly affects pelvic balance. When the sacrum shifts, it creates uneven tension in the round ligaments that support your uterus. That tension limits the space baby has to move.

We assess. We find the restriction. We restore balance with gentle, specific contact. No cracking. No twisting. No touching the baby.

Studies on the Webster Technique show that when pelvic balance is restored, babies often have room to find their optimal position on their own.

This isn’t luck. It’s biomechanics.
