I've learned that healing isn't about forgetting what happened or pretending it didn't affect us. Our past is part of our story, and understanding it can teach us so much about why we think, react, and relate the way we do.

But there's a difference between understanding our past and continuing to live from it.

At some point, we get to ask ourselves: What do I want the next part of my story to look like?

That's where I think healing becomes really hopeful. We can take what we've learned, challenge the beliefs that no longer fit, and begin dreaming about our future again—not from fear or old wounds, but from who we're becoming.

That's a big part of what I talk about in Healing Masterclass Part 2. If you're at a place where you're ready to understand your past without letting it decide your future, I think you'll really connect with this episode.

🎙️ I'd love for you to listen when you have some time. And if this quote made you think of someone, feel free to share it with them. 🤍

Have you ever wondered why you can KNOW you want to change... and still find yourself doing the same thing again?

I've definitely had patterns in my own life where I've thought, "I know better. Why am I still doing this?"

Something that has helped me is understanding that our brains love patterns. Familiar takes less energy—even when familiar isn't necessarily what's best for us.

That changed the way I looked at healing.

Instead of beating myself up when an old pattern shows up, I can notice it and get curious about it. There it is again. Why is this familiar to me? What am I believing? What would I like to practice instead?

We don't have to shame ourselves into changing. We can understand what's happening and intentionally begin creating something different.

That's a big part of what I'm talking about in Healing Masterclass Part 2.

If you've ever wondered why you keep repeating something you've genuinely tried to change, I think you'll get a lot out of the full episode. And I'd love to know—what's one pattern you're working on changing in your life? 🤍

Sometimes we think we're stuck because we need more discipline, motivation, or willpower.

But I've learned that sometimes what's happening in the present is connected to something we haven't fully worked through from the past.

A trigger. A relationship pattern. A belief about ourselves. Even being afraid to dream bigger.

The goal isn't to blame our past for where we are today. It's to understand it with compassion, recognize what we're carrying forward, and decide what we want to change.

That's what Healing Masterclass Part 2 is about—understanding your triggers, recognizing old patterns and beliefs, healing what's underneath them, and giving yourself permission to create a different future.

Which slide made you stop and think?

"Sometimes the voice telling you not to grow isn't wisdom... it's fear trying to keep you safe." 🤍

One thing I've learned is that whenever I start stretching beyond what's comfortable, that inner voice usually gets louder.

"What if you fail?"

"What if you're not good enough?"

"Maybe you should just stay where it's safe."

For a long time, I thought that voice meant I shouldn't move forward.

Now I see it differently.

Sometimes it's just my brain doing what it was designed to do—trying to protect me from uncertainty.

I've learned I don't have to fight that voice or pretend it isn't there. I can simply recognize it, thank it for trying to keep me safe, and still choose to take the next step.

If you've been feeling pulled toward something bigger but fear keeps talking you out of it, I think this week's Healing Masterclass Part 2 will really encourage you. My hope is that it helps you understand why growth feels uncomfortable and gives you the confidence to keep moving forward anyway.

If it resonates with you, I'd love for you to watch the full episode. And if someone came to mind while you were reading this, feel free to send it their way. 🤍

"The more we understand our story, the more freedom we have to rewrite it." 🤍

For a long time, I thought healing meant trying to forget the past or just moving on.

But I've found that real healing looks different.

It's taking the time to understand why I respond the way I do. Why certain things trigger me. Why some beliefs have been so hard to let go of. And instead of judging myself for those patterns, learning to meet them with compassion.

The more I've understood my own story, the more I've realized that my past doesn't have to keep making decisions for my future.

We can't change what happened yesterday, but we can choose what we do with it today.

If you've ever felt like you're repeating the same patterns or wondering why change feels so difficult, I hope this week's Healing Masterclass Part 2 encourages you. My hope is that it helps you understand yourself a little better and reminds you that healing is possible.

If it sounds like something you need right now, I'd love for you to listen. And if someone you care about has been carrying the weight of their past, feel free to share it with them. 🤍

I’ve learned that healing doesn’t mean calling painful experiences good or pretending they didn’t hurt.

It means deciding that the pain doesn’t get to keep repeating itself in my life.

Sometimes our hardest experiences reveal where we still need healing. Sometimes they uncover beliefs we’ve carried for years. And sometimes, as we work through them, they become part of the purpose and compassion we bring to others.

We may not get to choose everything that happens to us—but we can begin choosing what it will mean for the rest of our story.

In Healing Masterclass Part 2, I talk about how unresolved experiences continue shaping our triggers, relationships, patterns, and dreams—and how we can begin creating a healthier future with greater intention.

🎧 The full episode is available now on my YouTube channel and all podcast platforms. I hope you’ll listen, especially if you’ve been wondering why old patterns keep returning even though you genuinely want to change.

And if someone came to mind while reading this, feel free to share it with them. 🤍

One of the most helpful things I've learned in my own healing journey is that our brains are always looking for evidence to support what we already believe.

If I believe I'm not enough, I'll notice every mistake.
If I believe people can't be trusted, I'll remember every disappointment.

It doesn't necessarily mean those beliefs are true. It simply means my brain has become really good at finding evidence for them.

The encouraging part is this: once we become aware of those beliefs, we can begin to question them, challenge them, and slowly create new patterns.

Healing isn't about pretending the past didn't happen. It's about becoming aware of the stories we've carried and deciding whether they're still serving us today.

I'd love to know—which slide resonated with you the most?

🎧 If you'd like to go deeper, this week's Healing Masterclass explores how childhood experiences shape our beliefs, why those beliefs often continue into adulthood, and practical ways to begin changing the story.

One of my favorite things is supporting local entrepreneurs. My neighbor just opened Bozeman Art Lab, and it's such a fun, creative addition to our community. Wishing them so much success! 🎨❤️

"You don't have to believe everything you think." 🤍

That was a life-changing realization for me.

For so long, I assumed that if a thought kept showing up, it had to be true. Thoughts like "I'm not enough," "I'll never change," or "This is just who I am."

But a thought isn't the same as the truth.

Some of the beliefs we've carried for years started as stories we created to make sense of hard experiences. Just because they've been with us for a long time doesn't mean they deserve to keep leading our lives.

One of the most freeing parts of healing has been learning to pause and ask, "Is this actually true?" Sometimes that one question changes everything.

If you've ever felt stuck in your own thoughts, I think this week's Healing Masterclass will really encourage you. I'd love for you to watch the full episode, and if someone comes to mind while you're reading this, feel free to share it with them. It might be the reminder they didn't know they needed. 🤍
