You have to stop thinking that 'Sunday morning faith' Christians will understand your encounters with God!!!

In Exodus 20, the Israelites wanted Moses to speak to them for God. They were too comfortable and fearful to become undignified in the presence of God.

Too afraid to fall out in the Spirit like John in Revelation 1.
Too afraid to be undone by the presence of God like Isaiah in Isaiah 6.
Too afraid to be undignified like David in 2 Samuel 6.

The Israelites dreaded what Moses craved!!!

Through circumstances in life and direct revelation, Moses knew God's holy power and glorious grace.

The same grace that took Moses from murderer to God's messenger.
The same power that moved Moses from downcast to deliverer.

That's the God I serve.
That's the God I encounter.
That's the presence I seek and crave.

Having reverence of His glory, His power, His grace and His love is what keeps me seeking more.

It's not about glitz and glamour, it's about glory and grace.
It's not about emotion, it's about encounter.
God doesn't want ritual, He wants relationship.
He doesn't want ceremony, He wants consecration.
He doesn't command opposition, He commands obedience.

This is Earl and Debbie, they are church family and blessed my family significantly.
We have a lanai with big sliding windows and a back door entrance. It's where our chameleon Bob lives, but it had become home to 30+ plants that had withered away during my bed rest and recovery with Jonah Trice. It became a room of overwhelm for me and a large space I couldn't use. Jonah and Zella would look out there all the time wanting to go play but it wasn't a safe space for them so I had to just keep it closed off all the time.
After hearing how I wanted to turn it into a safe sensory play room for the kids, somewhere they could paint, play with sand or slime or playdough, all without making a huge mess in the common area of the house; Earl said he'd be blessed to come clean it up! He tackled it within about an hour and a half while Debbie and I sat at our kitchen table and talked. She wanted to know how Gospel Meals Ministry started and was amazed at my tie dyes! She said "well maybe now that you'll have that space for the kids, you can get back to tie dying!"; little did she know, I'd been praying about really wanting to get back to it!!!
So... she was right!!! I got back to it!!! After a very generous gift from Margie and Don getting things for the kids to play with out there, and my Pop asking for a couple red, white and blue t-shirts (look at God moving quickly!), I got to tie dye again!!!
So... I text Debbie's best friend and asked for her living room colors, "light blue and she LOVES flamingos" and then I got to work!! !
She was so surprised and loved this tapestry on canvas I made for her!
Get you a church family that will become family! That know they're blessed to be a blessing. That are there to offer a hug or a helping hand and that you can bless with the talents God has given you too!

16 years ago I was modeling neon bikinis and dresses in fashion shows (thanks for the reminder FB memories)...
Last night I was at church till 10:15pm, prayed for two police officers at Wawa and handed out 4 little Jesus figurines...

New creation in Christ Jesus!!!

Figured it was a good month for a refresh...

My hair has been one of my favorite tools to evangelize (other than Gospel Meals Ministry )
People who would maybe not say something to my Pastor in public, speak to me. Generally something about my hair.
I use that opportunity to talk to them about Jesus.
Even a simple, "Thank you, Jesus loves you!" as I hand them a little Jesus figurine.

One day when a group of us from church were evangelizing at the riverfront downtown, I got to have a discussion with a woman who was already following Christ...
I was able to remind her when she asked about my rainbow hair and classes "even though you're a follower of Jesus?!", that Genesis 9:13 tell us the rainbow is God's and the devil counterfeits God's gifts and promises. She said I "enlightened" her and reminded her to not "jump to conclusions" so quickly.

This was something I wrestled with God about for some time after giving my life to Jesus. Then, while out with a great commission shirt on, I had someone remind me "you can reach people others can't"
I've carried that with me as a nod from God. As long as I'm using it as a tool, HE will continue to anoint the conversations it brings forth.

*Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. *Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, *and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, we are called to fulfill the Great Commission, it's not just the job of our Pastors and elders of the church to tell others about Jesus, pray for people they don't know, and be a hand up for those in need. Jesus called use all to pick up our cross and follow Him.

We passed out all 10 Gospel meals over about 4 hrs time and God moved so mightily. A woman that we've been trying to minister to since the second weekend we passed out Gospel Meals was happy to see us and accepted prayer tonight!!! Praying that the next time we see her she accepts Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior!!!

We came home with 2 empty coolers and hearts overflowing!!!

*The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
