💙 HELP US BRING THE WRITE START TO MORE PEOPLE WITH PARKINSON’S! ✍️

FITE For Your Write is looking for local businesses, senior communities, wellness centers, churches, community spaces, and other organizations willing to donate a space for us to host The Write Start classes.

🖊️ The Write Start is an interactive class designed for people with Parkinson’s who are experiencing changes in handwriting and fine motor skills. Participants learn practical strategies and exercises focused on handwriting, posture, fine motor control, and maintaining independence.

And here’s the best part… 💙

Thanks to funding from the Parkinson’s Foundation, these classes can be offered AT NO COST to participants!

We just need welcoming spaces in our community to help us bring them to more people.

Another wonderful Write Start class is in the books! ✍️💙

A heartfelt thank you to Town Square University Park for graciously hosting today’s FITE For Your Write – The Write Start class. We had two wonderful, engaged participants who brought curiosity, great questions, and a willingness to learn.

Living with Parkinson’s disease can make handwriting increasingly frustrating, but it doesn’t have to mean giving up. Today, we explored practical strategies, evidence-based techniques, and adaptive tools designed to help participants improve legibility, build confidence, and make everyday writing tasks feel more manageable.

It’s always inspiring to watch those “aha!” moments happen as participants discover there are ways to work with their Parkinson’s—not against it.

Thank you again to Town Square University Park for opening your doors and helping us bring these valuable resources to our Parkinson’s community. We look forward to many more classes together! 💙

Today was another incredible Write Start class at Rude Dog Boxing! 💙✍️

A big thank you to Neuro Challenge Foundation for sponsoring today’s class and making it completely free for participants. Removing financial barriers helps more people living with Parkinson’s access tools and strategies to support confidence in handwriting and communication.

We had such a wonderful group—full of encouragement, laughter, and a great willingness to learn, which made the class truly special.

And a special shout-out to Jazz Jan’s amazing service dog, who quickly became everyone’s favorite classmate! 🐾

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to Rude Dog Boxing for the welcoming space. We look forward to continuing to help individuals build confidence—one word at a time.
