To the mama who’s been quietly following along… this is your sign to reach out. 💛

Whether you’re newly pregnant, trying to decide if doula support is right for you, or simply gathering information for the months ahead, it’s never too early to start the conversation.

One of the biggest benefits of reaching out early is the opportunity to receive support throughout your pregnancy—not just during labor. From answering questions and easing anxieties to helping you prepare for birth and postpartum, I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

It’s also important to know that I only take one birth client per month so that I can provide truly personalized support and ensure I’m available when you need me most. Because of this, due dates often book up months in advance.

Even if you’re just curious, I’d love to connect. No pressure, no commitment—just a chance to chat about your hopes, questions, and vision for your birth experience.

📩 Send me a message and let’s start the conversation. I can’t wait to meet you.

☀️ Summer is here, and just like birth, it reminds us that every season has its own rhythm.

Some days feel calm and easy, like a quiet morning by the lake. Other days feel intense, unpredictable, and overwhelming. Birth can be the same way.

One of the most important things I help my clients do is stay grounded through every stage—whether labor is unfolding exactly as planned or taking an unexpected turn.

Your birth doesn’t have to look a certain way to be beautiful. Whether you’re laboring in a tub, walking the halls of the hospital, using an epidural, or breathing through contractions naturally, your experience matters.

This summer, as you prepare to welcome your baby, give yourself permission to slow down, trust your body, and embrace the journey one moment at a time. 🌿✨

What are you most looking forward to about meeting your baby? 💛

There is so much power in knowing your options during labor. 🤍

Hospital birth does not have to mean laboring flat in a bed.
You can move. You can sway. You can bounce on the birth ball, use counter pressure, change positions, dim the lights, use breathing techniques, hydrotherapy, music, affirmations — whatever helps you feel safe, supported, and grounded.

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is that you have to “give up” your birth preferences in a hospital setting… and that simply isn’t true.

Your environment matters.
Your comfort matters.
Your voice matters.

Whether you’re planning an epidural, an unmedicated birth, or keeping an open mind — there are so many ways to support your body through labor and manage pain naturally along the way.

As your doula, I’m there to help you navigate those options, advocate for your preferences, and create a calming space wherever you give birth. ✨

Hospital birth can still be peaceful.
Empowered.
Intentional.
And yours. 🤍

Hi! I’m Alyssa, a Registered Nurse, birth and postpartum doula, and mom of four, serving families throughout the Adirondack region.

My passion for this work comes not only from my clinical background, but from my own experiences navigating pregnancy, birth, and postpartum as a mother. I understand firsthand how important it is to feel supported, informed, and truly heard during this time.

As both an RN and a doula, I provide a unique balance of evidence-based knowledge and compassionate, hands-on support. My goal is to help you feel confident and empowered in your choices—whatever that looks like for you.

Whether you’re planning a hospital birth or a home birth, choosing an epidural or going all natural, I am here to support you without judgment. This is your experience, and my role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance, reassurance, and advocacy every step of the way.

I believe every family deserves care that honors their preferences while also providing a strong foundation of safety and education. My mission is to bridge the gap between medical care and emotional support so you can feel calm, confident, and fully supported through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
