We are looking for two PT kitchen Assistants.

The Kitchen Assistant supports the dietary team by assisting with food preparation, meal service, cleaning, and sanitation to ensure residents receive safe, nutritious, and appealing meals. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen while providing courteous service to residents and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
Prepare beverages, desserts, salads, and other simple menu items as directed.
Set up and serve meals according to residents' dietary needs and established portion sizes.
Deliver meals to residents when required.
Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas, dining areas, and food preparation equipment.
Store food properly and rotate inventory using first-in, first-out (FIFO) procedures.
Assist with receiving and stocking food and supply deliveries.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies.
Dispose of trash and recycling according to facility procedures.
Work cooperatively with dietary staff and other departments to ensure quality resident care.
Perform other duties as assignedP
