💐 Happy National Assisted Living Week.

🤟 September 13 to 19 is set aside to honor the residents, staff, and volunteers who make assisted living what it is. The people in these communities have full lives behind them and are still living them out loud.

🙏 To the executive directors, wellness directors, activity teams, dining staff, and caregivers in the communities we work alongside: thank you. You carry an enormous amount, and you do it for people who deserve exactly that level of care.

🏡 Assisted living and home care are not an either/or decision. Our caregivers regularly support residents right inside assisted living communities with one-on-one companionship, extra hands during peak hours, and a familiar face for families who want continuity. The community provides the setting and the structure. We supplement it.

❤️ Both sides work better when it is a real partnership. To everyone celebrating this week, enjoy it. You have earned it.

🇺🇸 This Labor Day, we're pausing to say thank you.

💪 Thank you to every worker who keeps our communities running. The early risers, the late-shift finishers, the ones who show up when it's hard and stay when it matters.

❤️ And a special thank you to the caregivers. The people who sit with a senior through a tough afternoon, who remember how they take their coffee, who turn an ordinary day into one filled with dignity and connection. Your work often goes unseen, but it changes lives every single day. We see you, and we're grateful.

Last night, Brighton City Council proclaimed September as World Alzheimer's Month in Brighton, joining communities around the world in wearing purple and sharing educational resources and advocating for continued research toward effective treatments and an ultimate cure.

Throughout September and beyond, the Sue Corbett Active Adult Center at Eagle View is proud to provide opportunities to learn, connect, and find support.

🧠 September 4: Building Brain Health, facilitated by the Alzheimer’s Association.

🤝 Beginning in October: Eagle View will host a Caregiver Support Group, giving caregivers a place to connect, share experiences, and find helpful resources.
