πŸ’™βœ¨ Important Update from JCS Affective Sober Living βœ¨πŸ’™

With a heavy heart, I want to share that JCS has made the difficult decision to close down the Miracle 🏠 House due to the many changes in funding. We are also closing the Camden House.

While this is a hard transition, we are not finished. We still have five beds open at the Devin House, and our mission is shifting to focus more intentionally on a smaller group of women. Instead of traditional sober living, we are moving toward an independent β€œstep-down” style of housing for women in recovery β€” women who have been sober for a while, are working, and still want a safe and supportive environment.

πŸ™ I want to thank all of our donors, volunteers, and supporters who have stood by JCS over the years. Because of you, we were able to last 9 years and help over 600 women. Many of these women are now living healthy, independent lives, doing wonderful things in their families and communities.

I could not have done any of this without your love, prayers, encouragement, and support. πŸ’™

Though this is a new season, the heart of JCS remains the same: helping women in recovery rebuild their lives with dignity, community, and hope.

🌟 Adopt a Family for Christmas! 🌟

At JCS, we’re inviting you to make a difference this holiday season by adopting a woman or a woman with children in our program. These women are working hard on their recovery, striving to reunite with their families, and they deserve to feel the love and support of our community this Christmas.

πŸ’– How It Works:
β€’ Each woman creates a wish list with 3 items (each under $50).
β€’ If the woman has children (no more than 3 per family), she also provides 3 wish list items for each child, including sizes for clothing or shoes.
β€’ You choose a family to adopt and fulfill their wish list items.

Most of these women are in treatment all day, focusing on healing, and don’t have the ability to work right now. Your generosity can bring joy and hope to their lives when they need it most.

🎁 Want to Help?
Message us or comment below for more details about adopting a family. Let’s make this Christmas a season of love, giving, and transformation!

πŸŽ„ Thank you for helping us support these strong, determined women and their families. Together, we’re building brighter futures!
