Somebody has to call out the deceptive skincare companies trying to trick the hell out of you. So here I am.

Be honest. When’s the last time you commented on an ad? Unless someone’s a troll or getting something in return, the answer is slim to none.

There are now services that pay everyday people with small followings to like, comment and post about a brand. They never say they were paid, and they’ve never touched the product. The service typically starts around $20K a month. It goes by a lot of names: astroturfing, comment farms, click farms, paid nano-influencer engagement, and plenty more.

The purpose..to make you think that hundreds or thousands of people love it ..so you jump on the bandwagon.

Yep, we’ve been offered it. More than once. But Spruce isn’t going to go against our values and become gimmicky.

What you see from us is real patients, real practitioners and real results.

So whether you choose us or anyone else, do your homework. Look for transparency. Look for authenticity. Take the b**r goggles off and don’t fall for the BS. 🍻

Happy 2 years to Allyson ♥️

If you’re a Spruce patient, you’ve felt Allyson’s work, even if you’ve never heard her name. Today she gets the spotlight she’s earned.

In 14 years, no one has come closer to being a clone of me. I could hand her Spruce for three months and know it would run exactly how I run it: every i dotted, every t crossed.

Working at Spruce means being a thinker, not just a doer. You have to strategize, plan, and problem-solve, because we’re always improving our systems, protocols, products, and how we serve you. And you have to pivot quickly, a skill few people have. My brain never shuts off, and Spruce will always grow and improve daily. Allyson has it dialed in. Spruce has evolved so much, especially in the last year, and she rolls with every change like she’s been doing this for 20 years. And if something isn’t working, she finds out why, and she fixes it.

A little of what she carries:

– All of our inventory, thousands of products every month
– Every partner relationship, from skincare to medical waste to paper towels

Because that usually means your skin has earned its next step.

The corrective phase isn’t always easy. There can be dryness, flaking, and days when your skin feels like it’s working hard, because it is. For her, a few weeks of temporary discomfort were worth it to stop living with skin she didn’t feel good in.

If you’re not ready to be consistent, we’re not the fit for you.

If you’re going to second-guess what we tell you to do, we’re not the fit for you.

We get it. There’s a lot of smoke and mirrors in this industry, and you should be cautious. Do your homework. When choosing, look at the business itself: what they post, the results they show, the reviews from real patients, and the message they put out into the world. Anonymous posting in forums like Reddit and Facebook groups are not the place to make this decision. When no one has to stand behind what they say, that should be a red flag.

Take a deep dive. Watch. Read. Ask questions. Then get started only when you know you’re ready, when you trust our process, our results, and who we are.

Because when you’re ready, you’ll have a team behind you that wants your results as much as you do. And we deliver.

And this isn’t just about us. Whoever you choose to work with, hold them to the same standard. Do your homework, do it well, and then trust the people you chose.
