Congratulations to our June Practice Member of the Month: Morgan B.

Morgan has been part of the Rise Chiropractic family for four years, and we’re grateful for the trust placed in our team and in Dr. Holden’s care.

We’re also glad to spotlight Rugged Edge, Morgan’s business specializing in laser engraving and 3D printing. Give them a look and show them some local support.

Thank you, Morgan, for being part of Rise.

Not all chiropractic care should feel the same.

At Rise, care starts with paying attention: what’s changed, what needs work, and what should be left alone.

That’s the point of Gonstead chiropractic: more precision, less guesswork.

If your body’s been telling you something is off, start with care that listens first.

Schedule your visit with Rise Chiropractic.

Good chiropractic care shouldn't feel like guesswork.

In this candid clip, Dr. Brennon and Dr. Holden talk through why patient involvement matters at Rise. When patients understand what the doctors are checking, what they are seeing, and why it matters, care becomes clearer and more trustworthy.

That is the standard at Rise: specific care, clearly explained.

For appointments, contact Rise Chiropractic.

Functional medicine is not only for people who feel “sick.”

In this clip, Dr. Holden explains who functional medicine is actually for: people dealing with chronic issues, unresolved symptoms, or health concerns that have not been fully answered by a surface-level approach.

At Rise, functional medicine looks at the body as a connected system rather than a collection of isolated symptoms.

For patients in Acadiana who feel like something is off but have not gotten clear answers, this can be a good place to start.

To learn more or schedule a functional medicine consultation with Dr. Holden, contact Rise Chiropractic.

Chiropractic care for kids is not the same as chiropractic care for adults.

In this clip from a presentation given to Bayou Biz BNI - Lafayette La., Dr. Brennon talks about why pediatric care requires specific training, a different touch, and a careful understanding of how a child’s body and nervous system are developing.

For babies and children, the goal is not force. It is precision, gentleness, and knowing what is appropriate for the child in front of you.

If you’ve ever wondered why parents bring their kids to Rise, this is a good place to start.

More movement is not always better movement.

In this clip, Dr. Holden explains the tradeoff between mobility and stability. The shoulder is a great example: it has a wide range of motion, but that mobility also makes it more vulnerable than a joint like the elbow.

The same principle can show up elsewhere in the body, too — including the neck, hips, and low back. The goal is not simply to move more. It is to move well, stay supported, and protect the body over time.

If you’ve dealt with recurring pain, stiffness, or instability, this is worth watching.

Dr. Holden is now accepting patients for Functional Medicine.

He recently completed 200+ hours of advanced functional medicine training through FMU and earned certification as a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (CFMP).

This training focused on root-cause care, lab interpretation, and systems-based clinical thinking.

The approach is designed to look more deeply at how the body’s systems work together, rather than addressing symptoms in isolation.

If you’ve been looking for a more thorough, individualized approach to your health, Functional Medicine appointments with Dr. Holden are now available at Rise.

One of the things people notice pretty quickly at Rise is that our tables are not one-size-fits-all.

In this reel, Dr. Holden walks through why that matters. From height adjustment to added comfort for pregnant patients and those dealing with acute pain, these tables help us care for people more thoughtfully and more effectively.

Good chiropractic care is not just about the adjustment itself. It is also about creating the right setup for the person in front of you.

Turns out chiropractors were not, in fact, born in a clinic.

We asked Dr. Holden what led him into the field, and this was his answer.
