Hello: I need your help. In 2020, a friend was in the first floor of an office building when all three floors above him collapsed and trapped him in the fire. He is the fiercest person I have ever met, and recovered from burns over 80% of his body and a traumatic brain injury. In 2013, my ex-husband was attempting a traffic stop when he was hit by a car, drug 75 feet, run over, and left there to die alone. He not only survived, but recovered enough to return to work. In 2016, a very good friend of mine, a Marine, returned from overseas with a broken back, a traumatic amputation of his left leg up to the hip, a TBI, and facing a recovery that took 2 years. All of them suffered significant medical challenges, and the shortage of medical services for them was astounding. So I developed this organization, providing free clinical home health services to veterans and first responders. We are working on filling the gap between first responders and medical care. But to help, I need your input! If you have been injured:
1. What was your greatest challenge in getting medical care (including physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and mental health)?
2. What information would have helped you and your family during recovery if you had known?

All input is appreciated!
